 the animal seller, Vaughn, didnt set up his own shop. he's job is to SUPPLY animals to Mirabelle. so the only place you can buy animals from is Mirabelle not Vaughn. so in conclusion... You are not blind.

 yes it is really way challenge playing this game. very unlike any other HM games which you water your crops everyday, there is a system with sun and water points for crops. different crop different requirement for the plant to sprout and grow. ..
