 ok turn off ds then when u at menu click settings the little icon on menu screen put time to 23:59 and date to two days back then save changes turn off ds and put nintendogs wait till midnight then do contests u can do this as many times as u wan..

 2 answers first they are not gold pokemon they are a different color called SHINY POKEMON second i would choose charmander cuz when u get to go to four island in icefall cave you have a beter chance on finding Suicune than any other pokemon.
