 the cheat apparently is: X,O,Square,R1,R2 i had a problem like this with the DS version of this game, getting two answers...

 you have the metal detector all the time, once it is charged. and the metal bars are scattered all over the desert.

 ive heard u can get married on the DS version of this game, but there's a particular way of doing it. but i gave up because i can't be bothered and haven't played the game in ages...
