 Can someone please help me to jump across the roof top. I can't seem to jump far enough. i can see the sharks fin on the balcony and thought that i could use it as a stepping stone but i can't. Please please help.

 On 2-1 i'm really stuck on the roof. I need to know how to get across the rooftop. one of the jumps is too far. i can pick up the sharks fin and thought i'd be able to use it as a stepping stone but i can't. Please please help.
