 well if you mean how to play the map eg downloaded map called testmod2000 you extract the map using winzip winrar 7zip ect then if halo is on you turn it off then you open your map directory C:\program files\microsoft games\halo CE\ there look for ..

 is that the 1 that a flood dude has on his hands if it is you have to start that level from the second check point (right before you fight the flood) at this time you supossed to go to the crash site where the flood is when your are heading back to..
