instead of trying to sneak around all the killer plants, just hop on your hoverboard and ride right through their "line of fire" (where they can grab you). this is also the way to get the artsie trophy. i got it.... ;-)

if you get 100 relationship with Roxie Moxie, she'll give you a special chamber to put in your house where, when you go in, you'll be able to change your skin color and hair color! it lights up when you use it; its so cool!!
