Intro:
In order to get the lovely Golden Watering Can*, you must have your town in perfect shape
for 15 or so days. To know how your town is coming along, go to the Town Hall and talk to
Pelly (or Phyllis) and choose "Environment!". They'll read a letter to you
that's made from one of your neighbors. After the 15 days of having a perfect town (any
amount of days as long as the town has always been a perfect town up to that day), talk to
Pelly (or Phyllis) and they should give you the Golden Watering Can.
*The Golden Watering Can waters a 3 by 3 area with one use. So, say you have a 3 by 3
flower patch. If you water the one in the middle, the surrounding flowers will not need to
be watered.
Getting a Perfect Town:
Some people suggest cutting down all your trees and starting from scratch to begin this
process. But it's your choise whether you start all over or not*. The first step you want
to do is lay out your grid. Make a pttern that you like, and start laying them down
starting from the top of your town, working your way down. Start at the top corners so you
don't accidentally mess it up. Make a 16 by 16 square (256 areas available in each section
once done) with your patterns. Once you make the first box, start laying tiles vertically
next to one of the sides of the box so that the pattern is touching the other pattern. Use
this to create another square. The area between the two touching patterns marks the
beginning of a new section and the end of another. Once you have your town mapped out,
count the number of trees in each section. If you have 12 to 16 trees in a section, it's
fine. Any more than 16, and you will need to cut some trees down. Any less and you will
need to start planting more. Also, go around planting flowers in each section. Pluck your
weeds, too. When you talk to Pelly, she might say something about there not being enough
green, meaning you need to plant more trees and flowers. If she says there are too many
trees, you need to cut some down. If she says something along the lines of
"Fantastic! X is in great shape now! Yep, it's pretty sweeeeet!", this means
that you have a perfect town. Keep up the perfect town thing constantly, and check Pelly
everyday to see what she says.
*Cutting down all your trees makes you spend more time fixing your town, but not cutting
them down could mean your trees might get in the way of something.
Hybrid Flowers:
Breeding Flowers can sometimes result in an odd colored flower. You can have your flowers
setup in a variety of ways in order to get different flowers. But the basic setup I would
recommend would be alternately placing flowers. It would be like this: Flower, space,
flower, space, flower, and so on. In a row of flowers beneath the first row, do the same,
but make the entire setup shift one space to the right or left, so the so the flowers are
only touching diagonally. This setup gives you the best chance at getting new flowers, and
you are more in control of what flowers you get. The color of the flowers produced by
breeding is determined by the color of the flowers that made it. However, you will not
always get the same color. There are multiple outcomes for most combinations. hre they
are.

Notes:
Flowers won't always spawn a hybrid.
The smallest amount of flowers required for a hybrid to be made is 2.
Thanks to http://alliscrossing.com for all of the information!
You made a typo. Yellow Cosmos are the ones that are called "Sun Cosmos", not Red Cosmos. xD
And I just noticed that the Perfect Town part ties in with my Acre cheat on the Wild World page. :3
Yes, acres tie in with this.
