Okay, so first of all:

FRUIT
Foreign fruit sells for a lot. (a whole pocket full of foreign fruit sells for 7,500
bells) If you need foreign fruit, trade Friendcode's with other players and take some of
their fruit. Plant it and wait for it to grow and blossom. Sell it at Tom Nook's store and
you will have a lot of bells in no time. If you need an easier way to get foreign fruit if
you don't have internet connection on your Wii, send a letter to somebody in your town and
attach a piece of your town's fruit in the letter. You should get foreign fruit back.

COCONUTS
This is another good way of making money. Coconuts sell for around the same price foreign
fruit is sold for and it's easier to find coconuts. Every so often, walk past the beach
and see if you can find a coconut. It may take a while, but eventually one or two will
show up. If your friend(s) have some, ask if you can borrow some of their coconuts. Plant
the coconut(s) one space away from the sand on the beach and water it.

FAST FORWARD
If you're looking for a fast way to making LOTS of bells, this is the cheat for you. Set
your date to the year 2000 (on the Wii, not on Animal Crossing). Make sure you have 50,000
bells in your back account. Fast forward the year until it can't go any further. You
should have 99,000 bells in your bank account. The disadvantages of this cheat are getting
weeds and some of the neighbours in your town may move away.

SHAKING TREES
Money and furniture fall out the trees when you shake them (to shake them, simply stand
next to a tree and press 'a'). Not every tree will give you something, but most do. The
disadvantage is that you can get stung by bees, but don't worry, it heels after a few
days.

SOMETHING LOST?
Through the gates at the back of the town, there should be two dogs standing. Press 'a'
near the dog on the left. He'll say a few options and one of they options will be
'Something lost?' - choose that option. There should be a few items in the lost and found.
Feel free to take as much as you want. If there's pitfall seeds, sell them to Tom Nook
(They don't sell for anything but it frees up the space in the lost & found for new
items). If there's nothing you particularly like in the lost and found, (e.g: furniture
that doesn't match your decoration or a t-shirt you don't like) sell it to Tom Nook. Some
items sell for a lot!

SELLING OLD ITEMS, BUGS, FISH, FOSSILS OR WON ITEMS
If you win any items at Easter or Halloween, or even catch bugs, fish or dig up a fossil
(MAKE SURE YOU GET THE FOSSIL DISCOVERED AT THE MUSEUM FIRST!), you can sell them for A
LOT of money. Mainly the won items that you exchange for Easter eggs and candy sell for
the most. Also, thinks such as golden furniture that is sent to you by Nintendo or
Tortimer sell for a very large amount of bells.

THE RECYCLE BOX IN THE TOWN HALL
Sometimes you can pick up old, unwanted items in the recycle box. It might not sell for
much (approximately 500 bells - 1,500 bells) but you can keep some items for yourself!

There's a lot you can do to earn bells if you use your imagination.
