Somewhere in Chapter two can't get accross gap

The girl has to stand in a puddle and send the water over gap but can't do the move any help?

make sure you hold Z and then SLOWLY make the movement with the controller.

this is how i got katara to do that waterbending move

when katara stands in the puddle get her arms to wave in the waterbending form, then hold
up your wii remote (but keep your nun-chuck verticle) for about ten seconds and then swish
it down (keep it about even with your nun-chuck). You will probobably hear or see the ice
moving, do the same thing but hold up the wii remote a little longer this time, and repeat
until ice goes all the way across. (don't worry I was stuck there too, for a while)
