Received Black Ops for Wii for Christmas and the multi player function does not work.

Have tried to reset system and controllers
Have tried other multi player games and they work fine

My Mom finnaly said that she would let me get Black Ops, but I have a Wii and the internet is pretty crappy. I don't want to spend $50 on it and not have internet. So does the internet ork on your wii? If it does, what kind of cable or adaptor do you have?
