me too, i am also being pointed to a gold brick while in the area for the dorm rooms it
points far left but i cannot go any further left than slytherin doorway

well first i think you need to use leviosa on some parts in the slytherin before the
common room to make 2 levers that form in the 2 pools of water there (i think). and then
get a strong person (Hagrid, Krum, Fang the dog) to pull both of them. thats the gold
brick that arrow is pointing to (its weird i know)

there's also a gold brick in diagon alley that also just leads me off the edge to the left
and in the gold brick shop the arrow keeps pointing to the lady in there and i've already
bought all the gold bricks from there.

To get the gold brick from the lady in the gold brick store, use the sweeper to sweep the
entire floor

so i have one last gold brick and my indicator keeps pointing me to the restricted area
far back left hand book shelf and i for the life of me can not find out how to get it i
really need the help please thanks!!

that's not a gold brick. I have all the gold, detector turned off and that gold arrow is
still visible.

It only flashes off when Hogwarts Crest Detector is turned off. I'm also currently
stumped.

To get the gold brick in the Court Yard, indicated as being by the pendulum, get a dark
magic character and destroy the man in the suit of armour. Reasemble the bits into a broom
stick. Fly up and collect the studs in a diamond shape. Once collected some more studs
appear. Keep collecting all the studs until the gold brick appears.

Theres another gold arrrow pointing down in the room where you had to stack the 3 blocks
to open the gate to get to the main common room i guess.

if u keep sweeping the floor where u buy the gold bricks you will get a gold brick and if
u sweep a little longer u will get another gold brick.u have 2 sweep the floor.

I spent like two hours trying to figure out how to get the last gold brick

there are 4 brown books shoot at the books and then the gold brick should come up.

the gold brick arrow in the library that points to the left is a glitch in the game! i
have collected all the gold bricks and that arrow is still there. also, i have read other
sites and they have said that it is a glitch too.

There is a hat that you can jinx on the balcony on the right side of the room. Once you
jinx it, the gold brick will appear, provided that you have already taken care of the
similar hats in other places at Hogwarts.

if you want to get a gold brick in the libery you need to destroy three brown wizerd hats

We were at 199 bricks and it was saying it needed the one in the library (left bookcase).
This was false. We found our last brick sweeping the floor of the Lady Gold Brick Seller.
It took about a minute or so for the sweeping, but it just keep doing it until she gives
it up. We were then able to unlock Volt..and do the bonus level.

You see those wizard hats,blast all three and the gold brick will apear.
