Playing extraordinarily well in Grand Prix races can produce a Star Ranking upto 3 at the end results instead of the standard "C, B or A."

Collecting these stars in all Grand Prix's adds a Star Icon next to your name in WiFi Races and on the Results Screen for your opponents to see.

(Note: Say, if you get a Three star rating in every Grand Prix except one which you got a One star rating in. You would get a One starred nickname until you manage to upgrade the rank.)

The Easier way is to use a mushroon At The second it starts to Decend on you. This way is very Easy Many people think Getting a mushroom is impossible to get in first place but in fact is very rare. but not impossible.

After meeting the requirements, some unlockables may require you to back out of your save file and reselect it.

Go into the Mii Channel and change your Mii drivers weight, which will have an in game impact causing you to change weight class and have different cars.

Beat All Cups in First place These have the same unlock conditions.And After You beat a Gp The Secret ending will appear And every Time You enter The Title screen A Different Character will be displayed.

Don't you just hate it when Pow blocks hit you? Well, there is a way to avoid them. When the pow block hits three times, at the end flick the Wii Wheel and you will spin only one time instead of three and knock your opponets in the dust.

If you want to get mirrior mode you will have to get a first place trophy in all of the 150cc cups. (You can unlock chacters and karts such as Roslina and the dolphin dasher.)

When you start on Maple Treeway (Star Cup),on the right there is a shortcut. After the count, stay to your right. When the gate stops, go in. The grass will slow you down, but there is a turbo and an item block. When you get the block, you'll be in a bad place. But the turbo gets you in a good place. So you would get a star power or bullet bill, etc. This takes you to the cannon.

To beat the staff at Nintendo that set time challenges on Mario Kart Wii the tip is to:

1. Always ensure that you have the best type of vehicle for the course you are competing in eg. if you are doing Luigi Circuit you will want a fast car, where as if you are doing a track with lots of twists and turns such as Deffino Square you will want a light weight bike that can accelerate quickly and steer with ease through the corners.

2. Get to know the course before you try the time trials. Usually there are shortcuts that the Nintendo people don't use that give you great time advantages. Also if there is more than 1 way of completing the track such as Delfino Square try going both ways to find the quickest way.

3. Use a bike for short twisty circuits. The main reason being if you do a wheelie by yanking the wii remote suddenly towards you, you will go faster.

4. Look around for jumps because if you take it whilst you are up in the air, shove the wii remote towards you and you will get a boost. (there is one on the grass towards the end of the circuit)

5. Take every advantage you can. Use the mushrooms to boost you wisely. You can do this by pressing "b" when you need a boost. (It works better on tarmac, do not use it to get off the grass)

6. Follow the record holder sometimes they use shortcuts that maybe you can use!

7. And finnaly keep practicing!!!!

1. Choose "2 Players" and and whatever your going to do.
2. Make P1 select the charactor and then deselect.
3. Make P2 select the charactor.
4. Make P1 hit B and go back a screen.
5. Then go back to the charactors screen.
6. Both of you will be the charactor.

How to get Mirror Mode along with information about it.

when you are jumping off a ramp or something (not blasting out of a cannon), the split second you're back wheel loses contact with the ramp, flick the wheel in any direction you wish to do cool tricks. When you land, you get a quick 1 second boost. its in the instruction booklet, this is just here if you cant be asked to read it

These times will show you how to unlock all expert staff ghosts so you can unlock Mii Outfit B. Beat the time to get an expert staff ghost. The hardest one for me was definitly Moonview Highway and GBA Shy Guy Beach.

When the countdown starts, wait until the "2" begins to disappear, then hold 2 to get a boost at the start of the race.

When the timer to begin the race just starts, hold 1 + 2. As soon as it is about to say "Go", release both buttons and press 2 as you would normally do to start the race. If done correctly, you will get a nice boost that will usually put you in first place in the 50cc and 100cc class. Note: This may require some practice.

First of all do not unlock any characters, except funky kong. get 4 expert ghosts to unlock. then you will be racing against very easy racers the entire time eventually u will get good enough to beat 150cc and then you will go on to mirror and will not be facing any hard unlockables such as dry bowser
