Don't you just hate it when Pow blocks hit you? Well, there is a way to avoid them. When the pow block hits three times, at the end flick the Wii Wheel and you will spin only one time instead of three and knock your opponets in the dust.

First of all do not unlock any characters, except funky kong. get 4 expert ghosts to unlock. then you will be racing against very easy racers the entire time eventually u will get good enough to beat 150cc and then you will go on to mirror and will not be facing any hard unlockables such as dry bowser

I don't know much about Mariokart but I do know what seems to be called (by my brother) flipping action! Not to be confused with Total Drama Action! So we all know the flick! You flick your Wii Remote on Backyard Baseball! So whenever you are on a jumping thing (speed boost) you flick and flip. You also can flick and do a wheelie (Bikes Only) for coolness. So on Ghost Valley 2 there's an opening on the wall to the right. Don't be fooled there's a lot of openings. So just flick on the opening and you'll go through the short shortcut. On Peach Beach you will see our "Un'Question'able" cheat!

This will help you to get a star rank, number relates to obviousness; 1, HOLY #%$@!! to 5, DUH!

When you are jumping off a ramp or something (not blasting out of a cannon), the split second you're back wheel loses contact with the ramp, flick the wheel in any direction you wish to do cool tricks. When you land, you get a quick 1 second boost. its in the instruction booklet, this is just here if you cant be asked to read it

Flip the wheel over fso the B button is facing u and there you have it its just like normal mode

One star: Earn a "One Star" rank in all Grand Prix races.
Two stars: Earn a "Two Star" rank in all Grand Prix races.
Three stars: Earn a "Three Star" rank in all Grand Prix races.

After the first escalator on Coconut Mall, stay right and use speed burst when going through store. Shoots you ahead. Also do trick on first fountain, use speed burst, and land over the entrance to second escalators. You're welcome.

Well you still spin but you don't lose speed you can only do this with motorcycles you have to wheelie right before it attacks and you won't lose speed but you do spin i do all the time even before i got on cheatguru.com

When you start on Maple Treeway (Star Cup),on the right there is a shortcut. After the count, stay to your right. When the gate stops, go in. The grass will slow you down, but there is a turbo and an item block. When you get the block, you'll be in a bad place. But the turbo gets you in a good place. So you would get a star power or bullet bill, etc. This takes you to the cannon.

For those of you who do not know how to Drift, here's how. As soon as you see a turn, press and hold 1 and turn the Wii wheel. Now you will be Drifting! If you want a mini boost while Drifting, just hold in 1 and turn the wheel, then wait for the back wheel to leave the blue or red sparks behind you. Now, let go 1 and you will get a mini speed boost!

And that is how to Drift and how to get a mini speed boost.

Remember those ramps in some of those courses Well if you push the wheel forwards,backwards even side to side you do tricks in the air and when you land...you get a boost of speed that's what!

In order to win the 150cc Special Cup, I recommend using a medium hieght/weight class person with a mach bike because it has excellent turning which you will need if you want to follow this walkthrough.

Race 1-Dry Dry Ruins: This is the easiest track in the cup and eally easy to get through. When the countdown begins, hold down your acceleration when the big 2 in the countdown starts to fade (Do this for every race). If you did this correctly you should start off pretty nicely in th line-up by getting a speed boost. Now, after you begin, you'll head for a turn with a row of item blocks. When you get close to this turn to a drift and you will go through a passage right next to the turn with two item blocks. This is nothing special it just gets any other racers off your back since most of them go the normal way. Now just keep going along the track until you reach the stretch to the large ruin hut. When the pillars fall you may use them as ramps to do tricks on and to do tricks to get boosts. Warning: Dont use any speed boosts on any ramps, including this one, or else you can fly into a ditch or something and that wont end well. Now, when you get into the ruins, go up the first ramp jump and do a trick to get a boost. But right after you hit the ground drift turn to the left and get to the second area. You can waste time if you go up the second ramp. Now for the first and second laps, you can drive through the pokey ditch in the middle, but on the third it will be filled with sand and you wont be able to go through it, so just make tight turns around it, driving into any sandless areas you can find to save time. Now just keep going through the ramps into the finish line. (Be sure to hit the ramps straight on or you'll fly into a ditch.) If your behind and you get a mushroom on the ramps, save it until you get to the patch of sand between a large rock and the wall. Use the shroom to boost through the patch into a straight path for the finish.

Race 2-Moonveiw Highway: This race fairly simple for the most part. When you start off, keep driving untill you loose sight of the stone wall on the left. Then run up the stone wall on the right. On top there will be a path that leads toa ramp with three item blocks in front of it. Go through the ramp and do a trick, then make a drift turn to the right, avoiding any cars or trucks in the way so you dont drive off the edge. Now continue on through the streets, using any boost panel you can find. Now go into the tunnel and just keep driving on the left with the traffic because cars randomly change lanes, meaning they can crush or flip you over unexpectadly. Now continue to the finish line.

Race 3-Bowser's Castle: This is where your opponents are most agressing because there arnt many other paths here until you get to the Mecha Bowser. As you start off, continue onto the ramp (with a trick) and proceed to the moving carpets. Choose either path. Whenever the carpet flings you into the air, shake your wii wheel and try to do a trick so you can gain speed. Now made a drift turn around the bend next to the un-protected lava pool into the Mecha Bowser Chamber. Go into the speed panels and go up a ramp jump, do a trick, land on the other side of the lava pit, and continue stright down into the opposite side ramp jump, repeat, and continue on past the Mecha Bowser. Keep going off ramps and sush until you make it outside to the flame geysers (however you spell it). When each geyser spews flame, the ground benath it bulges. Use the buldged up ground as a ramp to do a trick and boost forward. Just be careful of other geysers activating so you dont fly into the air.

Race 4-Rainbow Road: I cant help you much on this one. Just keep drifting tight turns and using boost panels until you reach the end. I recommend using speed boosts as little as possible because your probably just gonna run off the edge and get all frusterated. Good Luck!

First, hold the accelerate button right after 2 fades away. Then, you should see a turn on the right, take it. Youwill become a lower place, but you will get a good item and usually be second right after the cannon.

When you fall into something, such as water or falling from rainbow road, when you land, if you hit 2 at the moment you hit the ground, you get a temporary boost.

When the countdown starts, wait until the "2" begins to disappear, then hold 2 to get a boost at the start of the race.

When the timer to begin the race just starts, hold 1 + 2. As soon as it is about to say "Go", release both buttons and press 2 as you would normally do to start the race. If done correctly, you will get a nice boost that will usually put you in first place in the 50cc and 100cc class. Note: This may require some practice.

When the countdown starts wait till the 2 starts to disappear and then press and hold the 2 button. So the 2 must still be visible but disappearing.
This will give you a boost at the start of the race.

Boost when recovering from a fall
When you fall into something, such as water or falling from rainbow road, when you land, if you hit 2 at the moment you hit the ground, you get a temporary boost.

When you see the POW block on your screen and its about to hit you, just do the function you would normally use for a trick to create a shockwave for youself to become immune to the spin out the POW block creates (Control panel on GCN controller, Shaking Wii wheel, etc.). This can be done on both bikes and carts. Even though you don't loose speed or spin out, you still will loose the items you were carrying.

Press 2 When the 2 is begining to go away and
when you can barely see it press 2 and it will
give you a boost at the start, hope this works.;)

If you have unlocked the race track 'Dry Dry Ruins' on the bit where you come into the temple the sand and jumps bit.
On the last on if you are closest to the wall you will go around the corner and be 2 secs faster for time trials.
