all karts and bikes have different acceleration speeds.

As soon as 2 disappears, press 2 or A, depending on what you are using. you will get a
speed boost

I didn't mean that karts and bikes having different acceleration speeds was wrong, i just
meant that that wasn't why they took off so fast.

All karts and bikes have all kinds of accelerations and speeds. You have to look at the
stats and choose your kart wisley.

also drift. if you want a bike that leans, pick (L) flame runner, spear, (S) magicruiser,
bullet bike, quaker, bubble bike, (m) Mach bike. If you want a bike that slides, pick the
others.

But also the characters, too. Different appearance, weight capacity, and intelligence.

If you want to accelerate faster in the start of the race, press and hold 2 at the right
time during the countdown(somewhere around 2.)And you'll get a little boost.

ok so before u start a race it goes 3... 2... 1... GO! so when the 3 appears hold the A or
2 button down (A if ur using a nunchuck, 2 if ur using the wheel)until the 3 disappears
then hold down the A or 2 button again when the 2 appears then let go of the A or 2 button
when it disappears and then when the 1 appears hold down the 2 or A button....BUT DONT LET
GO OF THE A OR 2 BUTTON WHEN ITS ON 1 OTHERWISE U WONT GET THE BOOST.
ans make sure u use a bike and not a kart so when u start the race u can flick the wheel
or wii remote up to get a speed boost( THIS IS CALLED A WHEELIE). BUT BEWARE WHEN U R
DOING THE WHEELIE U CANT TURN!!!!!!!! HAOPE IT HELPED!!!!! =)
