Hey i need some help getting to the second relic in the dry swamp can anyone help me?

When do you save this game? We have had it on for a week, and its starting to tick me off....would like to play something else.
We can't finish it that fast, not fast at all, HELP can you tell me if you ever get to SAVE??

I have completed all the levels and found all of the relics. When I get to the end of Mt. Parnasis II there is nowhere to go and it just keeps raining comets from the sun until I die. How do I get to Icarus and finish the game? Do I have to finish Arcadia first?
