Ok, so I bought this game a week or two ago and after many hours of frustration not knowing what to do I searched high and low for help on the internet. This site is probably the best, but even it lacks proper info. Eventually, though I began to progress through the game and am now really moving forward with it. SO...to help other newbie's progress I thought I would post a bit of advice. It is ESSENTIAL that you get to the cockpit of the plane (not to be confused with the crash site). Once at the cockpit that is where you get the canteen and then begin progressing through various levels. There is also no right or wrong direction, you do need certain items to progress through some levels, but if you re-trace steps and find alternative exits in various levels it will eventually lead you to various tools and award, which will help you progress further. Remember though: find the cockpirt first and from there you will be rewarded with a very cool (and at times, frustrating) game!

For a hint about where to find the cockpit: go down the hole at the punchan shrine where the guy is talking to himself (behind the spiderweb) and explore further. Here you will find a path that leads you to the cockpit. When you get to the cockpit there are two vines, second one allows you to get on top of cockpit and enter by breaking through. Have fun!
