When you enter the penguin den, after killing the penguins, you need to do the spin kick
to break the ice domes and you should land there. There's two or three of them. Also, in
the beginning of the penguin den when you get to the water, there is a small dark rock you
can land on. It is hard to see, but when you find it, you got it from here.

To avoid getting hit by the penguins wait for them to slide at you then jump out of the
way. then go over and spin kick the egg in the nest they were sitting on. The penguin
will go back to the nest, break down into tears (no kidding!!!) and leave you alone.
