How do I build a dam in danger woods?

is there any trick to getting more butterflies? All my plants are being eaten so quickly and I rarely find more butterflies over anything I need. they're always over ragweed and witch hazel. Even when I get rid of those the butterflies don't reappear anywhere else.

I am having trouble with the bears in the game. I pa ssed the level and am taking care of the LiL furrys from a previous level and ALL the bears kept visiting (following) me and kept killing my favorite animals (IN MEMORY OF PETUNIA THE SQUIRREL. R.I.P 2/16/09...

I'm in the second area in the game and it's been over run by mushrooms and ragweed that are killing all the trees. Anyone know what I can do to get rid of them? I've been trying to kill them by over watering and everything but they keep coming.
