snake is from nintendo they alredy have some type of ssb with shonen jump characters like naruto and its not that game on the ds its for the ps2

yea but nintendo is friends with the snake owners or something so he was let in. and he has nintendo connections. (that's what I heard) I guess the same for sonic... (the friend thing..)

It's all called contracting, my friends.

Sega and Konami were very desperate for actually earning some money during Brawl's development, so along with popular demand of being in Smash Bros., the 3rd-party companies begged Nintendo to put Snake and Sonic in Brawl, thus technically giving partial ownership to them, thus making them part nintendo.

Metal Gear 2 was for Gamecube so in a way Snake is Nintendo. Get your facts straight guys/
