I have an idea. While celebrating the defeat of Tabuu in Knothole village, Sonic is walking and saying something to Link when he is pulled into a room by Sally, who is about to kiss him. Sonic speeds out, blushing, and hears a growl. He sees what it was. He saw that Sally was being attacked by Amy, then all the sudden Amy gets turned into a trophy and Wolf comes and takes it and Gregor the Overlander comes and snatches Amy's trophy, and revives her. Wolf flees, and Luxa comes and smootches Gregor, and Sally kissed Sonic.

No, there isn't, actually. But it's not like the icicle mountain from the first SSE just suddenly melted away. Plenty of ice and snow to go around there. These twin mountains are pretty much anything but freezing cold, boilng hot, or dark.

They must not be very high, then.
