I suggested Crocomire a while back in the new boss thread.
I think introducing Crocomire along with his unique way to be defeat would be a great addition to the bosses of SSB4.

As do I.
@blaziken1234 :
This is the basic idea of what I had in mind for fighting Mother Brain.

This is when you first come in. Calm, but you can see the potential for a security system.
____________________________________________________________ ___________

This is after you enter the room. I just added the characters in for effect. Two lasers flash a warning light for a second before firing. Keep moving, or hide out of their range on the bottom level -when the lava isn't there, of course. Two missle launchers fire slow, but homing missles. Again, keep moving to avoid these. If that still seems too easy, there's the lava. It's not always there. A rumble proceeds it's rise as well as it's recession back into the floor (notice the holes in the floor in the first picture?). Lastly, Space Pirates, both the Zebesian (traditional) as well as the KiHunter (flying) types, can drop down from the holes in the ceiling. The KiHunters are easier to kill -one hit "de-wings" them, while the second hit kills them, but they can fly. Zebesians are a little harder to kill -only 3 hits to kill, but they can block. However, they cannot fly (though they can jump). This is more important a fact when the lava comes into play, as things that can hurt you can hurt them. Missles/lasers hurt them, and lava kills them (for you, it just acts like it does in any other Smash Bros. game).
Obviously, the objective is to hit the Mother Brain. I tried to place hazards so that it's not much easier to use projectiles than just jumping up and hitting her directly. First, the case around her must be destroyed before attacking her directly. I realize that it takes more to get knocked out of the stage, but that's part of the endurance included with all the dangers of fighting this "boss". After taking enough damage, you may start to feel like a pinball. Rack up much more damage, and you will be knocked up off the screen.
And this all is still before fighting the "body" Mother Brain has made for herself using her knowledge of robotics and bioengineering...
Yeah, and all I still have to work with is MS Paint so, sorry for the lack of detail.

That's still a nice job you did on paint, though. I'm starting to have second thoughts. To me, however, this seems like it would be better for the last segment of a level.
I have to go to school now, so I'll explain in further detail later.

Actually, in a way, I suppose it would be.
The Super Metroid body being the actual final boss battle.

Final Boss battle? Wat. I think singling out one series for the final boss would be a bit much.
YAY ANOTHER TL;DR POST
Villain HQ (Core Terminal)
Anyway, I think I can imagine this easily going into a level. In the core of the Villain's HQ, Mother Brain runs the robotics and bioengineering of the base. At one point in the story, a subspace attack directly ambushes the Villain HQ and places the villains in peril. Bowser, Ganondorf, King Dedede, and Ridley decide to search for the very core of this pursuit.
After getting to explore the base for a while, you eventually come into Mother Brain's room. A cutscene plays where everything seems normal at first, exception being that a few Space Pirates are found almost dead on the ground, but then a huge spill of shadow bugs flood the room, locking the door behind the quadret of baddies. Mother Brain becomes incased by the shadow bugs and darker, purplish Space Pirates start to come down.
This is where your idea comes into play, only difference being that it's a more subspace-ish version. Once you break open the case with Mother Brain in it, another cutscene plays, and the 4 villains find that Mother Brain has a purplish-tint as well. Mother Brain opens her eye and breaks open her case, revealing the rest of her body. A boss fight starts, the 4 leaders VS a possessed Mother Brain. (*Insert boss fight description in Boss/Enemy Forum*)
After the fight, Mother Brain goes down, falling to the floor and detatching some of her body parts. The shadow bugs fly away, but Mother Brain remains... pretty much dead. In an outrage, Bowser stomps around and smashes the locked door open as Ridley activates the main defense system, ridding of the subspace invasion in their base. A bitter-sweet victory. The subspace left, but with the lives of many underlings and Mother Brain lost (meaning more base operations will have to be made manually for the villains).
End of level.

I think the final boss should be all the villeins with their trophy guns at once. That would be sweet.

An idea for a level...

Do you remember this is Super Mario World?
As a story level, it may be interesting. A castle level (maybe even a Koopa Kid, or those rotating triceratops as a boss at the end), at the beginning, you jump onto the skull raft. Then it goes pretty much the same as it did in Mario World, jumping and dodging -to avoid enemies such as Blargg and Parakoopas, and trying to grab items from flying Question Blocks, when you can. All the time trying to stay on the raft (except if it comes to a place where it falls, and you have to jump to a ledge). Throw in some warp pipes, and some extra craziness, and after the raft riding, you are faced with a boss. End of Level.
Another thought is to make this a board to fight on -the "raft" staying in the middle of the screen, and the background moving past. Enemies and Blocks as well. Maybe even a part where the raft falls off a large lavafall, and you can fight in freefall for a moment. Similar to Toon Link's ship level.

The Skull Raft is 3 Bowsers wide.
That may seem a little narrow for a platform carrying you through most of the level, but keep in mind, you don't die from falling off it (right away at least). Just the good ol' Smash Lava "Fry and Fly".

It's like you each have one life. But you have 0%, your opponent has around 200%, you KO him by the star thing(i mean Star KO, where you KO them upwards and they go to the background and turn into a star.) But right before they become a star, a Blargg eats you, killing you and allowing your opponent to win.
But I love this idea

Do you think it would be better as a story level, or a vs. stage?

I would say story level, but that's just me, because it seems a little bit hard to KO on that stage. Plus, it would give a challenge of fighting off enemies while maintaining to stay on the raft.
(My friend basically hacked into my account. That last post was him, not me.)

Maybe you're thinking of the Kirby anime, which is not involved with the Kirby series plotwise in any way. He sounds southern in the english version, but he also sounds just low-voiced in the japanese version, so to avoid confusion, and to pay a closer homeage to his grunts and other sound effects in the Kirby games, his current voice was decided.
Long story short, he doesn't sound like what you'd think for a reason.

You know, Meta Knight in Kirby Right Back At Ya! had the same English voice actor as Brock from the Pokemon anime.
You know, until his and everyone else's voice happened to change at the same time.

The SSE was too much beat-em-up to be that fun. I was hoping there would have been more puzzles, and that the puzzles they did had weren't so simple or boring.
I swear, the most complicated thing they do in there is have you press all the different buttons in the different rooms just to get to the next room in Samus' and Pikachu's first level.
And even then, that's sad to call a puzzle.

And they guy who voiced him in the Japanese Kirby Anime, also voiced him in the Japanese version of Brawl.
He sounded so much cooler in Japanese...
Since when was Meta Knight Spanish...

Nintendo is a company that has created some of the best puzzle orientated games ever (The Legend of Zelda per-say), and so it makes no sense at all that, in a game that acts as homage to all things Nintendo, those were the best puzzles they could come up with.
