To be honest, I really don't have a main in Brawl because it's hard to stick with one or two characters for every match. It gets boring fighting with only one character all the time. I'm all about variety when it comes to fighting games.

But, on the other hand, if you learn to become good with a few certain characters, you're chances of winning will increase, making matches seem more enjoyable for you.

Besides, Kirby is a truckload of fun when he can be used competitively AND for the lulz.

I'm good with a whole bunch of characters which give me both a lot of variety and increased chances of winning.

Luigi, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Wario, Ganondorf, Pit, Meta Knight, Wolf, Captain Falcon, Pokemon Trainer, Ike, Lucas, Sonic

If you find out which one is your true main though, you can use him or her often in matches, having a better chance at winning. A lot of other character alternatives are usually useful when your character has a disadvantage of some kind, so you use a different one to cover it.

My main is DK, due to his power, great horizontal recovery, good running speed, and use of his specials to create great opportunities. E.g. If you learn to use the headbutt properly, by working around the lagtime - it leaves the opponent open to either a spinning kong to rack up serious damage, or if they're at high damage already, unleash a sidesmash or fully charged punch (just for the info - DK swinging his fist 8 times causes more knockback then swinging it 10). His Utilt is great for keeping opponents away, and avoiding damage. And if you're feeling cheap or want to annoy people in general - then pick 'em up for a suicidal ride. Those are just some of the reasons.

I used to main as Metaknight a while ago - but decided that he was too cheap and easy to use, and that he was the choice for too many noobs. So I chose DK because he actually takes skill to use.

I also use Ike a lot because of his powerful moves, and awesome specials. I can also never get enough of his final smash!
I still play as Kirby - because he's my favourite video game character - and it gives me a real sense of nostalgia. And for that reason - D3 is fairly well used.

I take it specific advantages of power and weight take to your liking.

But those seem like pretty cool mains. Especially Donkey Kong. I don't know too many DK mains. Perhaps we should see who's the better Kirby and who's the better DK.

Sounds like a good idea! There's only one really $hitty problem - I'm in boarding school in England - which means I can only get to my wii during the holidays. I go back home in September, and as soon as I do, I will accept your challenge.
Damn that's annoying - because from what I've heard - your a real good player, and I'm always looking for decent people to play.

Yep. 3rd Best player on all of Cheatsguru, with Anthony and Sam being a little better than me. Likewise, I always look for a good opponent.

Ganondorf...
There's too much wrong with him to be taken seriously.
The only time he's useful is if your playing a team game, and your partner is very good at protecting your back while you let out high-knockback moves.
E.g. - being thrown into a warlock punch.

Really, Ganondorf needs some serious buffing. The whole ****ing triforce of power itself isn't going to make him good...

In one of the co-op event matches, you play as Marth and Ike to take on different swordsmen. This includes Link, Metaknight... And Ganondorf. Wtf. They really are trying to torture us with the no-sword-moveset-for-Ganondorf thing.

Srs, but you guys probably have a problem with Marth, w/e, he's probably my best.

Why can't they just give him his godamn sword! In Melee it made us think "...ok", but then in Brawl he brings it with him... but then only uses it in a taunt! That's just plain psychopathic of Sakurai!

Really though. That's retarded. He could've at least had his sword in a fs. (Though it wouldn't make too much of a difference) Or maybe even a special attack. I never thought in any way that he was similar to Capt. Falcon. *** moveset.

Yeah, it would make sense if they added it in more than a taunt. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he's the only character in the game that is in a game that uses a weapon and doesn't use it in SSBB. I surely don't see Ike or Link without their swords, or Olimar without his Pikmin (if you can even cl@ssify those as weapons...)

They really should add that in the next SSB

As for my main, it would have to be Wolf. As alternatives, I normally take Marth, Jiggly, and Kirby. I could go on pretty far with alternatives, but those would be my main ones. Maybe Lucas, too...

with Toon Link if you get a super spicy curry but don't use any moves that require link's sword or something i don't know when you get out of it he will have the usual pose but no sword or shield it's like wow ok but when you move it comes back sakuraiii
