The Subspace Emmisary could have been better.

It's not perfect, but it's pretty damn good.

Happen to be amazing. I thought the game was very well thought out. Although, there could
have been more thought into the SSE... So, I say 4.5

Like you guys said, the SSE could have been better thought out. It could have been worse,
but also could have been much better.

Grabs - One thing I miss the most from SSB64 is that grabs actually meant something. Now,
they can be somewhat good for a few characters, but overall they really screwed up the
grabs.

The hammertop falling off... ok, I never play with items, I'll say that now. But every now
and then when I go online for a few random matches, and items are enabled (as always...),
the hammertop falls off... it's... so... effin... weird... XD That was kinda unnecessary
if you ask me.

The golden hammer - I mean, wtf? They just made a hammer duplicate that's pretty much the
same other than the fact that it goes faster, lasts a little longer (I may be wrong, I'm
not that familiar with it), and the top doesn't fall off. So yeah, basically the same
item.

Smoke Ball. Kinda *** since I've never seen a computer act differently around a Smoke
Ball. I don't think it effects them at all, and all it does is... make smoke.

Some of the Assist Trophies. Some of them don't help at all. They move the screen around
and focus the screen on one person in full view, the one that says things and makes those
enormous speech bubbles that take up the top of the screen. Just those little things that
don't really help the user, just screws up everyone including the user.

The online system is bs, at least in my opinion. No 2 player random brawls, you can't add
people you see online as friends, finding people to brawl with can take ages (they could
have just made it so that you can join any group or make your own and people will join
it), and the fact that you can't have 2 online accounts.

And that's all I can complain about for now. My head hurts and it's late, so I can't think
of anything else to whine about. Don't get me wrong, all in all, it's a good game. Just a
few little things that piss me off that I wanted to point out.

You know, so you don't rely on items too much.

It's just something that I, personally, don't like the idea of. To me, Lyn and Shadow make
sense, but the others that also screw up the user just don't make sense to me.

And don't worry, I never rely on items. In online brawls, I either swallow items with
Kirby or throw them off the edge XD

I don't like items. Probably because this random Bomb guy fell out of the sky and just
killed me once. xD

Anyway, Like everyone above me, I give SSBB a 4.5/5. Really, I blame the SSE's lack of
dialogue. Every good story has at least SOME dialogue. Like, take the FE games. They
always balance great gameplay with a great and easy to understand storyline. Not saying
that the SSE's storyline wasn't good, but personally I found it a little difficult to
understand.

Also...WTF is Tingle and Resetti doing as Assist Trophies? They don't do anything good for
you.

Well, I mean, they could, but imagine how many less players there would be. They would
lose some business without items, as many people like to play with them.

I agree that items are annoying; they also base the game a little more on luck than skill.
Some people like that, others don't. The problem is that if they would keep the items,
probably business will stay the same, but will drop without items. People will see it as
more empty and all...

Well, I have to admit, items are pretty fun to play with. They add to the chaos of the
battlefield, which is one of the Smash Bros. series' classic charms. And what better way
to finish it all off than with a flashy Final Smash~? :3

Thats why you can turn items OFF.
