Walkthrough - Snake Tips and Tricks

 SOLID SNAKE COMBAT GUIDE

So you want to learn how to use Solid Snake and be a pro at it? Well you came to the right
place. Here i will break down Solid Snake's moves and how you can use some tricks with
them. Keep in mind about Snake though. He has some flaws and advantages like all players
in Brawl.


Solid Snake Notes:

Snake is a heavy weapon specialist who uses CQC (Close Quarters Combat) and his technology
with advanced weapons to win in fights. Snake mostly will use attacks from far away, due
to his long range capability and abilities. Keep close to force him to use his CQC. Snake
has so much gear on so he is very heavy. He is at the peak of the weight tier. This makes
him hard to KO but this means he is very slow so use it to your advantage.


Solid Snake Smash Attacks:

Up Smash: Snakes up smash is when he lobs a rocket into the air and moments later it falls
on your foe. The longer you hold the smash the higher the rocket will go. Use the moments
you spare to shoot one up for tactical advantages. If you get close to your enemy and use
the smash you send them into the air and then hit them with a rocket shooting them higher.
Use this time to get away and plan.

Down Smash: Snake plants a mine into the ground with his down smash. The longer you hold
it the more powerful the mine is. When an enemy steps on it they will be sent flying in a
small explosion. Very good to use when you have a smoke screen around you. You hide your
actions while being a threat.

Left/Right Smash: Snake's most powerful smash is the left/right smash. He pulls out an
RPG-7 and shoots close range at the opponent. The longer you hold it the more powerful the
blast is. Snake is vulnerable here. It takes time to load his RPG so be careful or your
enemy will put dents in you. This is a good move when your opponent is in paralysis from
deku nuts.


Solid Snakes Special Moves:

Special Move: You throw a grenade with your basic special move button. It takes 3 seconds
for it to blow so be strategic about it. For a surprise hold the grenade for 2 seconds and
throw it at the last for a quick hit to your fow.

Up Special Move: Snake uses a cypher for his up special move. This is a recovery technique
and works effectively. Use it to get on high platforms and get back on the stage. People
say it cant do damage but if your under your opponent enough and you use it. Let go and if
it comes in contact of your foe it will do a small bit of damage.

Down Special Move: Snake places a plastic explosive down with his down special move. It
works like his down smash but you must press the special button command again to set it
off. Very useful but it can damage you if you are in the vicinity. Beware how you use it.

Left/Right Special Move: For your left/right special move you fire a RC rocket launcher.
you move the rocket and try to hit your opponent with this move. You are unable to move
snake though so if you feel like your in danger hit the GUARD button to drop the missile
and return control. Use the RC to hit bomb ombs and blast boxes from far away as a
strategy in battle.


Final Smash:

Snake's final smash is pretty deadly. He calls forth a chopper and shoots grenades at you.
You have limited grenades and time so use them wisely. Once you hit your foe keep lobbing
grenades at them. Dont give them any breathing room and show no mercy.
