Red Knight/Blue Knight puzzle


I have read how to turn the flames off, and I am pretty sure I got the right statues, but I cannot get the doors to open. I have seen other walkthroughs say to speak to the knights twice, but all I do is get dropped to the lower level. How can I get those gates open?

all you have to do is read the blue knight shoot the order that it said then you
have to find stone go back to the entrance with the monsters then save it figght decus
and lyold and decus are fighting the real lyold is the one that is not smileing decus go
flyin back
