Final Form Monsters

How do you evolve a monster into its final form? It keeps showing that I can choose the final form as what i want it to eveolve into, but it stays grey, and won't let me select it. What am i doing wrong?

aurionsama 45	0 Monsters I can't tell you specifically since I don't know what monster you're trying to evolve, but you may need to equip the monster with a certain item (such as an opal etc.) I would experiment with this or maybe even find a website that will show you the laydown of the exact monster your looking at.
