The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Cheats :
Glitch - CD-Streaming How-To
I've noticed that the majority of YouTube videos that demonstrate the CD-Streaming technique have confusing instructions. I was interested in CD-Streaming, but I could never get the hang of it because I just wasn't understanding the directions. The part that really confused me the most was the part where you "go to any part of Hyrule Field that has multiple loading points". I thought that by "multiple loading points" it meant multiple areas where if you walk into a loading zone, it would take you to the black or white screen for a few seconds while the next area was being loaded, but I later realized that the sounds that the Wii makes when an area is loading happens in some areas that when you walk into them, you can continue walking instead of it taking you to the black or white screen for a few seconds. After I discovered that, I have now mastered the art of CD-Streaming! So I am posting this to help those that are confused by this instructions. Here's how to do this glitch:
Step 1: Press the Home Menu button and eject the Twilight Princess disk from the Wii.
Step 2: Put the Twilight Princess disk right back in the Wii and wait until the disk is completely in the Wii before pressing the Home Menu button again to return to your game.
Step 3: Press the Home Menu button again to return to your game. Then run in the direction that there are multiple loading points that won't take you to the momentary black or white screen.
Step 4: Keep going in that direction while listening to the Wii. You must listen for the sounds that the Wii make when loading a different area. Once you start hearing the loading sounds, press the Home Menu button and eject the disk before the Wii is done reading the disk (The Wii is done reading the disk when the Wii stops making the loading sounds).
Step 5: Put the disk right back into the Wii and return to playing your game. Now you will hear the Wii constantly making loading sounds. This is the part that can get really annoying.
Step 6: You must keep pressing the Home Menu button and ejecting the disk and then reinserting it over and over and over again until you finally get out of bounds. Once you get out of bounds, you can just let the game run normally and you will no longer have to eject the disk and reinsert it again.
CAUTION: You can only travel out of bounds while riding Epona. If you try to walk on the unloaded area as either human Link or Wolf Link, you will fall into an empty void and respawn. Epona can also come to a sudden fall down to an empty void. There's really no way to prevent this from happening, but if it does happen, you will be respawned back to where you first got out of bounds.
NOTE: By CD-Streaming, you can reach out of bound's area and reach certain areas earlier than you're normally reach them. You can get to the Lanayru Province early by CD-Streaming. If you want to know how to do that, just search it on YouTube.
NOTE: You may occasionally come across certain invisible barriers that stop you from going into a certain area while CD-Streaming. One kind will freeze your game until the Wii completely reads the disk and the other kind will allow you to keep moving but it acts as if there is a wall there. If you want to get past the invisible barriers, you just press the Home Menu button, eject the disk, put the disk back in and let the Wii completely read the disk, then take the disk right back out and put it right back in. THEN you can resume your game. Don't worry about the possibility of this loading an area that should be unloaded. By keeping the game paused while the Wii completely reads the disk will not have the unloaded area be loaded. It will load them if you resume the game once the Wii has finished reading the disk.
NOTE: This glitch can also be done in some parts of Faron Woods as well. It can be done in the very first part of Faron Woods.
I hope this helps!
