Use a whirlwind sprite (you can find one of these flying round by the front gates i think)
to blast your way through the cave wall in front of the stone that lifts up (you may need
to be in sword mode for this). This will lead you deeper into the cave system.

or damage boost from the bellflower sprite (found nr the outhouse/gazebo in the garden)
then just bash your way through with your bat.

you have 2 collect the 3 fairies ( tells you in field guide which ones) and then :-

1)use the mushroom one so you raise the platform
you should have created a blue circle floating around above the door.
2) use the fat green fairy to go through the " window" as described in riddle.
3) then use your power fairy so you can wallop the door and bish bash bosh your in!!
