creepy doppelganger in the deep woods - has this happened to anyone else?

In the deep woods, near the oak tree, there's a brown bush (not the one closest to the tree, but another one around a corner) and after I ran around the sprite and the brown bushes receded, a darker colored version of Simon turns up and kills me! Has this happened to anyone else? It really freaked me out!
