Crash Twinsanity Requests

I have come to a river i have to jump on to a kayak which is spinning then jump down river from stone to stone without getting speared by tribesman...I keep getting as far as the second last stone and freeze thus i end up getting speared is there any way i can make it past all the stones?PLEASE
