After coming down from a piston, about halfway through the level, you’ll come to a room completely filled with Flood fog. Go into the room and you’ll see a stack of crates. Jump on top (while cloaked would probably work better, so the Flood don’t notice you), and across to the next highest level. If you look in the last hole in the wall, you’ll see the skull in with a dead Flood.

:: This can be done on ANY difficulty :: The scarab gun is in the Metropolis level and is the most powerful weapon in the game. First kill all of your marines on the bridge- if you see ANY marines, kill them. Get in the tank and blow up any ghosts or wraiths you see.
When you get to the banshees, kill all of them but one.(this is VERY important!) Kill the rest of the covenant and lure the banshe to follow you. Blow up the warthog full of marines and continue on with the banshee still following you. Kill all of the aliens in the next curve.
The banshee might be a little mental and get stuck in a corner, but just stand behind it untill it re-targets you. Have it follow you in to the small tunnel.(you might have to blow its wings off with a plasma rifle.) EXACTLY when it says "Loading... Done" you have to hijack it, and if you wait too long, the banshee will dissappear and you will be sad.
If you do this correctly, you should be in the banshee. Go out into the next outside area and you will see two gigantic bridges. Fly on top of one of them and you should see what looks like a plasma rifle floating on top of a cone. Grab it and when you shoot it should be a big plasma-like explosion.

Password: Create profile named super man

Makes you and your army invincible forever for the profile.

Don't know if it works but try it though, and not sure if its 1 space or 2 spaces in between "super" and "man."

in the lvl headlong park a worthog right by the banshee and go up to that one building right by the one with the ghosts by it and get the sword from the top floor between the boxes then get to the top floor on the building next to the one where you got the sword now get to the bridge and look at the sign with the worthog on it for about 3min and then get on top of the building and jump on to that light post on the sign then get your sword out and hit the left one first then the right then middle then the left then middle look down then the worthog you parked there should be a orange one!!!!!!!!!enjoy your hide!!!!!!!!!!

After the first four levels of Halo 2 (though it feels like one
smooth ride!), you get to play as the Elite that was being
punished by the Prophets in the intro! Yep you play as an Elite
doing whatever the Prophets want. For the first level you are sent
to a forerunner facility to quell the Heresy therin. The beginning
is easy as you just kill grunts and Elites with the help of your
grunt and elite pals, but near the middle of the level you face
another enemy...the Flood!! This is when things get harder. After
that you and your Elite allies go chase after the Heretic, cut the
ropes holding up the forerunner facility as it free alls to the
ground you must go back to that ship you saw and defeat the
heretic but he has two holograms of himself attack all of them and
dont let up because it is possible to vanish the holograms
forever. After that you meet up with a little blue thing bent on
destroying all life....guilty spark!!! The key to beating this
level is activating you active camo, you can do this by pressing
the white button but this does not ladt forever the little circle
near your grenades is how much more time you have lefts until it
runs out so watch it carefully! Use this to avoid battles!

After getting the envy skull go through a checkpoint while in active cammo mode. To be safe use "reset to last checkpoint" so you can check if you did it right. Save and quit; then turn off the xbox to remove the envy mode. When you reload your file you will find yourself with unlimited camo.

on the level metrooppolis at the part you destroy 2 wraths destroy the two wraths and the two ghosts then wait for the pelican to go on the brige then get under the pelican then jump and press x

this can be done on any multiplayer level. get back until you can go no furthur with the red lock-on symbol. emptet out all rocket ammo.

on the level matropolis get a banshi through the tunnel (just like how you get the scarab gun)as soon as you exit the tunnel fly left and look aroumd the area just after you would go through the room with a waterfall if you wer in a warthog look straight ahead and up a little and you should see a half destroyed building its on the ground floor of that building in the left corner.

if some1 sits on 1 end of a teleporter, and not the 1 that moves u- and u sit in the moving 1 until they die and lose a point- on their screen it will say u hav been telefragged.

Well if it is your first time going againts the Flood the best thing to do is stay Calm!, because some of the flood look like Zombies, and they can pop out of no where, and some of the scenes of the flood are really disturbing, so lets get started. Well the sdcond thing to do is get a Plasma sword, because if you have a plasma sword you are able to hit Flood that get to close, and the plasma sword hits about 3 Tiny flood that jumps at you. The other weapon you should carry with you is the Shotgun, because with this gun you are able to hit the flood from close range, wich is a good advantage, and when the tiny flodd come at you, then when you shoot your shotgun will kill at least 5-7. Then if they start to sorround you then the best thing to do is throw a Fragment grenade at the floor then jump away from them, and most of them blow up, then finish the rest, by hitting them with your Plasma blade. Also it is good to play with another player because some of the flood comes out right behind you wich will freak you out. The thing not to do when killing the flood is to have a Plasma Grenade since they stick right on the flood, and they jump right at you, and blow up, so at some point they are good, but they are bad to keep when battling. Also the worste weapon you can use when killing the flood is the Magnum because they only shoot once, and they only hit one at a time, so that means when you hit 12 monsters that leaves you about 40 more flood to kill with just one weapon, so the Magnum is one big No no. The machine gun is a good weapon, but you need to know how to shoot it because when some people shoot it they shoot all cock eyed, and they waste there ammo, so the best thing to do is shoot one big patch, and kill the rest, so the other weapons are good to use also. Hope this helpes. Well lets say that your plasma sword runs out, then the best thing to do is grab any other kind of weapon, and keep your shotgun because it comes in handy later in the game. Also lets say that your shotgun runs out of ammo, then keep it because there is some ammo still in the game. Hope this helpes.

Blind Mode
At the beginning of Outskirts jump on top of the light on top of the door with a crouch jump, then jump to the left platform. Turn to your left and go down the long dark corridor and pick up the skull; it will say blind and your screen will flash black for a while. In this mode you can not see your weapon, body, shields, ammo, or radar. To get rid of this feature use the following method: 1. Turn off your XBOX or Save and Quit. 2. Go to Campaign and select level and choose Cairo Station. 3. Skip the cinematics and then Save and Quit. 4. Go Outskirt and your hud is back.

Assassins Mode
A skull similar to the one that activates blind mode can be found if you Start on "regret". After the first lift ride (before the first underwater elevator), grenade jump from the front awning of the lift to the ledge in front of you (the one with two turrets).

Grenade jump AGAIN onto the next ledge.

Make your way to the back of the building. On Easy, you'll only find the skull. On Legendary, however, 2 invisible Elites carrying swords just shake their heads wildly, ignoring you completely.

After you crash land on Old Mambassa, you can see posters all around with the Master Chief from the demo and some grunt posters.

Grunts Birthday Party Mode
In the level Arbiter on Legendary. Once you get to the first banshee section, fly immediately straight down all the way to the bottom of the map. In one of the cracks where the large cylinders connect to the station. There will be a circle of grunts dancing around a skull. When you pick up the skull; it will say Grunt Birthday Party on the screen. Now when you kill a enemy with a headshot, they will blow up like a plasma grenade was stuck to them.

To get rid of this feature use the same method as the blind mode.

Iron Mode
On the last Master Chief Level, on Legendary Difficulty, when you enter the final Gravity Lift, look up. A skull will pass through you extemely quickly so you must start holding X a bit before you actually pass it to grab hold of it. Once you grab the Iron Skull, Iron Mode will be activated. This skull causes you to go back to the last checkpoint when you die in co-op mode.

Envy Mode
On the level "Delta Halo" on Legendary Difficulty, Progress until you reach the area during the "Push through the covenant held ruins" where you have to clear a Landing Zone for the Pelican to drop weapons. You will know you are in... 

Changing Split Screen Type
The multiplayer split screen type is determined by the video settings on the Xbox dashboard. For Horizontal split screen, the Xbox must be in fullscreen mode. For Vertical split screen, the Xbox must be in widescreen mode.

Skip Sniper Alley!
Level: Outskirts
How To: Once you have killed The first hunter pair at the start of the level walk through the hole in the wall they created. walk through and look around. there should a destroyed wall to the left of you. jump on to it and make your way upward by carrying on jumping upwards, crouch jumping when nessasery. you should eventually reach the roof tops (it may take a while to find and/or reach). from here head toward the left hand side part of the roof tops. you should see part of the destroyed highway that the first pelican flys along once it has picked up the sgt. jump onto this highway and walk across it. at the other side you should see a slope and in the distance the hotel where the next group of marines are pinned down. jump off the hight way and walk up this slope to reach the hotel skipping the sniper alley.

Get a Scarab Gun
This is done on the level Metropolis and is easiest when done on Co-op. When you start out, cross the bridge. Take out every enemy and even your marines. When you're near the end, Cortana will say something about a "Welcome Party". Three Banshees and a few ghosts will appear. Take them all out. Then 2 Wraiths and 2 Banshees will appear. Take out both Wraiths, and only one Banshee. Have Player 1 continue through the tunnel, but have Player 2 stay outside and distract the Banshee. Once Player 1 reaches the area with the circular opening (a Jackal with a Beam rifle is present), take out the Jackal and head back to where Player 2 is.

Here is the hard part. Get the Banshee to follow both players into the tunnel. Do not board it yet! The first few times it will come at you and fly back out, but stay where you are. It should come back after you. (If it doesn't, go back outside and try again). Eventually, you'll have to get it over two road blocks. Once it is past the second one, have both players stand near the entrance of the room where Player 1 took out the Jackal. It should fly at you and get stuck. Shoot off both of its wings so it can fit thru. Have Player 1 walk slowly in front of the Banshee, making it follow him. Player 2 should be behind it, gently pushing it. Take it to the left and get ready to board it. As soon as you hit the... 

ok, on zanzibar (if on multi-player i sujest u get a sniper before this superjump.)................ok get to the beach go to the big wheel through the big door (not by where the vehicles spawn.) walk towards the wheel turn left a little. keep walking till u hit a wall, now u should be by the wheell. jump up to the ledge, and the next one, chrouch in the corner connecting the wall to the wheel. (for about 3 seconds) then turn around, down on the ground there is a crack jump down (holding down on the left thumb-stick land on the tiny part closest to u.) u might fall through the map and it will say (Killed by theguardians) if u make the jump try to land on the top of the wheel. if u do.................................SNIPA TIME!!!!!! :D........XD

The title gives it away. It is the glitch of the shaky hand. Grab a plasma pistol and hop in to the passenger seat of an warthog. Fully charge your plasma pistol and while still having the fully-charged pistol in your hand hop out of the warthog. Your hand should be shaking uncontrollibly.

On the level Metropolis, when you get to the part were the guy and cortana talk about whos in charge,you look outside and youll see two pelican aka plane things and one will land and drop off gu

Once you have almost used up your sniper rifle, beam rifle, or rocket launcher (with 1 shot left ), trade with your squadmate. Once they have that weapon, they have limitless ammo for it and can help you out immensely with the more powerful weapons. There are two points to note: if you try and trade your weapon back from them, it will still have the same amount of ammo that it had when you gave it to them and the energy sword cannot be traded with human squadmates.

the only way to do this cheat is with more then to people and a wraith. first you go to the part where you usually get a wharthog and face yourself toward the person i the wraith. stand there and he or she will boost you up and u will go very high stay straight and then move to the left. go to the rocks and go down to the bottom but dont go off the ledge. next the other person comes and sword cancels you thats x and the right trigger together then you let him do it to. finally u go to the top rock 1 2 3 and then the big one jump straight ahead and run almost go off the cliff but jump up the straight rock slant and turn then just have fan but u either die, suicide, end game or go to a crack and go down. have a great time on top of burrial mounds ps you suck at this game. written by a halo 2 favorable player code name B23 SILENT BLADE.

ok enter a leavel or split screen get in a ghoust and go and press A and bam ur doing a wheely!(if you wheely into the side of a tank with any luck you will flip and turn misty flip it just matters about the way you hit the tank

Skip tough Brute battle before the end boss
When you are flying around in the Banshee during the final level when you are giving support to your ally. You can skip directly to the final boss sequence if you are still in the Banshee after te door gets blown open. Fly to the right of the control centre building and aim towards the bottom right and if you fly close enough you should get a white screen indicating that you have started the cutscene. When it's over you will be at the final boss without fighting your way to him.

Overloading objects on the map
It is possible to overload certain objects in many of the Halo 2 Multiplayer Maps. By overloading I mean removing it from the map altogether. You can overload most anything that is not actually connected to the map itself. Please note that it seems that you will need at least 8 others for this to work. The easiest example is in Zanzibar. There is a bridge that you can knock down to easily get to the sword on the large spinning wheel. Knock the bridge down and run to the end where it is squared off. You and all your teammates should bunch up as close as possible in the corner and look straight down at your feet. Make sure everyone is looking down and the bridge should overload and disappear. It will be gone for the remainder of the game/round. You can also use this overloading glitch on Midship(on the floating platform) and Headlong(there are two places in Headlong...the hanging construction beam and the hanging platform right next to the beam....however you may need around 12 others to overload that platform). These are the ones I have seen myself but there may be others in other maps so good luck hunting!!

Unlimited Sword Ammo
You can do this in any two-part Campaign missions (i.e. Outskirts and Metropolis). If you finish the first level of the two-part mission with a sword with no ammo, you'll start the next level with a sword that has unlimited ammo. Though the sword doesn't show up when you arm it, it still makes all of the sound effects and acts exactly like a normal sword.

Hold 3 Pistols!
First Go to a level that you can get three pistols on, such as outskirts. Go pick up a... 

you have to be on co-op... go next to any corner and stand facing it then have your teammate jump on top of you then have them facing up the tell you tm to jump up in mid air and repiedietly press x b, do that 3 times and you partner will be stuck on top of you.

One day playing a game of Halo 2 with my little brother, we found a really odd glitch.

1. Configure the gametype, so that there are random tanks(needed to get 2 different ones in the same level.) Also if you'd like to live longer, I recommend turning on the overshields :P

2. Start the game, use the map Coagulation.

3. Keep destroying the tanks...till you have both a Scorpion and a Wraith.

4. One player goes in the Scorpion, the other in the Wraith.

5. Now for the odd part, the player with the Scorpion just drives towards the Wraith and the player in the Wraith crashes into the Scorpion using the speed boost...

6. If done correctly, the Scorpion will fly off going berserk all over the map.

7. Feel sorry for the player in the Scorpion, as he is about to die a gruesome death :D

8. Even after the player in Scorpion dies and the tank blows up, it still has the tank threads flying around, killing everything in its path. (lol)

9. And if you wonder how to use it against the enemy? Well in the Metropolis level, you can use it and it COULD kill loads of enemies =x

Take it outside and directly up. Very high in the sky are two skyscrapers with two bridges connecting them. In the middle of the bridge closest to you, there is something that looks like a plasma rifle. It's actually a Scarab gun! It has infinite ammo, so have fun. Just don't aim at the ground.
