First beat all the levels before Every Body's a Cridic and get 4
stars on all of the ones before this one to unlock it then get 5
stars on Every Body's a Cridic to unlock Behind the Seens Cage
Match at Behind the Seens Cage Match you will fight the director
and if you beet him you will unlock him.

To unlock alternate costumes, defeat your selected character in ninja challenge mode in their "full feature" level. You only need to pass the stage to unlock it. For example, Using Xui Tan Sour, finish the Legend Of The Drunken Bastards stage (she is the Boss).
Some scenes feature an actor as the Boss. Defeat that Boss with himself (3 stars or better rank) to unlock his or her alternate costume:

Level select:
Click the Left Analog-stick, then press Left, A, Down,
Y, Right, A, Down, A, Right at the main menu. (LADYRADAR)
All costumes for unlocked characters:

Fight as Shao Ting:

All four star bonuses:

Master code:
Click the Left Analog-stick, then press Left, Up, X, Up, Right,
Y, Left, A, Right, Down at the main menu. (LUXURYLARD)
Alternate costumes:
To unlock alternate costumes, defeat your selected character in
ninja challenge mode in their "full feature" level. You only
need to pass the stage to unlock it. For example, Using Xui Tan Sour,
finish the Legend Of The Drunken Bastards stage (she is the Boss).
All cheats should be done at main menu

Finish a level with a 4 or 5 star rank to unlock one or more bonuses.

Some fights are with a boss-like character. If you defeat that actor with the mirror version while earning three or more stars you can unlock the alternate costume.

The "bosses" are:

Master Sho-Yu in Night Of The Living Fog
Ninja Fu Hiya in The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly Princess
Monkey in Enter The Dino
Chop & Styx in Gigantic Crack
Xui Tan Sour in Legend Of The Drunken Bastards
Lucy Cannon in Revengeance Day

If you complete campaign mode with Candi Roll or Captain Won Ton, you unlock their alternate costumes.

To win easily against Shao Ting simply press X, Y, B, repeatedly* until you have a Super attack then use it on him to gain double points. You will be treated to an ending movie featuring the character you defeated him with.

*=When Shao Ting gets close to your character start to do this.
