DPRK Scout Chopper (Clubs, Diamonds) - On the open bridge between Downtown Pyongyang and Sariwon, several DPRK scout choppers usually pass overhead. Draw their attention and hijack them when they descend to attack. This place is fairly reliable as a source for scout choppers, but the appearance of the choppers is random.
DPRK Scout Chopper (Clubs, Diamonds) - The $ symbol southwest of the DMZ, very close to the Ten of Clubs. This is not the same symbol as the AN Transport Chopper. You can reach that chopper simply by following the railroad leading south into the badlands; once there, you just need to snipe the pilot out of the chopper cockpit and claim it for yourself. Watch out flying forward -- the restricted zone is right in front of your new ride.
DPRK ZSU (Diamonds) - These AA tank units are found in the backroads fortress area west of the NK Artillery Base and Farmland (northwest of Haeju). The shells are weaker than actual tank guns, but since you can fire 8 of them in rapidity, you can destroy light jeeps quickly for money.
DPRK BMP-1 (Diamonds) - These IFVs are usually parked near the tunnels which spawn North Korean troops. They have decent armor against anything except anti-tank missiles and tank guns. They can be used for your North Korean jeep killing sprees if you find one. BMP-1s are great to use for the AN mission where you need to rescue three or four downed allied airmen near the North Korean Fortress. Just make sure you fire your BMP cannon first on the enemy BMPs, or you won't be going anywhere in about five seconds.
DPRK BTR APC (Diamonds) - These IFVs are usually parked near the tunnels which spawn North Korean troops. Many of them are roaming the roads near the North Korean Fortress in the northeast area of the game map. They are fairly tough, unless you are facing off a tank; disguising yourself as North Korean is worth it for the most part if you are trying to get to an objective and facing a mass of North Korean troops. The APC is faster than the BMP-1 and handles more like a "normal" car than a tank (which uses the joystick to move).
DPRK Type 54/55 Tank (Diamonds) - These North Korean tanks are usually parked near the tunnels which spawn North Korean troops. Many will appear in the northeast where the NK Fortress is. If you get one, consider blasting the immediate forces around your area, especially North Korean jamming vehicles, SAM carriers, and other vehicles. Once you're done with it, you can always sell it to the Russians. Note that non-combatants such as reporters, civilians, and privileged white doctors (i.e., Monica Bellucci in Tears of the Sun) will not occupy the gunner's spot on tanks and similar vehicles -- to get them anywhere, you will need a vehicle that can carry passengers -- not just gunners.
ROK LHX Chopper (Diamonds) - After the South Korean (ROK) Round 2 Diamonds Contracts is completed the LHX chopper will be in Inchon airport. You will also need to load/reload the map by accepting and cancelling a mission. Get in by using a South Korean vehicle; the ROK officer at the gate can be summoned into your vehicle as a passenger and dropped off far away so you can infiltrate the area in peace. This little bastard can make some missions a walk in the park.
ROK Transport Chopper (1st ROK Contract, Clubs) - When the reinforcements arrive after the second North Korean attack on the northern checkpoint, you can quickly commandeer one of the arriving choppers before they take off. Listen for the "Here comes the cavalry!" line (subtitles help). Head to the center of Kaesong and the arriving choppers are rather obvious.
ROK APC (Diamonds) - Several APCs will be near the Inchon airport control tower; they appear at the same time as the LHX chopper. Get in by using a South Korean vehicle; the ROK officer at the gate can be summoned into your vehicle as a passenger and dropped off far away so you can infiltrate the area in peace. The ROK APC is quite a devastating tank destroyer, but it is vulnerable to tank guns and other anti-armor munitions.
Chinese Type 89 APC (Clubs) - Head south of the Chinese held area in Nampo and an APC is usually parked in the shadow of one of the buildings. It's handy when you're exploring the map early in the game, but rather underpowered once the Ace of Clubs contract is cleared.
Chinese Type 89 APC (Diamonds) - Head into the Chinese held area of Nampo port and two flank the landing ship used by the Chinese earlier in the game.
Chinese Type 89 APC (Diamonds) - The Chinese held area of Pyongyang airport has several of these machines patrolling the Chinese held area; jack one if you need one.
Chinese Type 80 Tank (Diamonds) - The Chinese held area of Pyongyang Airport will have several of these vehicles when the Diamonds tier starts. Get in by using a Chinese vehicle; the officer at the gate can be summoned into your vehicle as a passenger and dropped off far away so you can infiltrate the area in peace. Alternately, use any tracked vehicle to crush the fences leading into the airport and drive off in your new tank.
Chinese WZ9 Missile Chopper (Diamonds) - The Chinese held area of Pyongyang Airport will have several of these vehicles after the Chinese Round 2 Diamonds Contract is cleared. You will also need to load/reload the map by accepting/cancelling a contract to get this vehicle to appear. Get in by using a Chinese vehicle; the officer at the gate can be summoned into your vehicle as a passenger and dropped off far away so you can infiltrate the area in peace. Alternately, use any tracked vehicle to crush the fences leading into the airport and fly out in your new ride. This chopper is not much better than the LHX, but it has 30+ missiles (unguided) you can use for the Jack of Diamonds contract involving the artillery.
AN Transport Chopper (Clubs, Diamonds) - The $ symbol southwest of the DMZ. It is the one across the small bridge near the secondary dirt road. Ignore the challenge and get a free Blackhawk. Don't head directly west on take off however, or you'll really have "Blackhawk Down". Avoid the SAM sites by heading to the DMZ and then going around the SAM riddled southern area.
AN Transport Chopper (Diamonds) - Northeast of the DMZ is a helipad where the Two of Clubs was at the start of the game. A free UH60 chopper is on the pad there after several Round 2 Diamonds Contracts are completed. Unlike the challenge chopper, this chopper doesn't respawn until the map is reloaded by entering a mission (then completing or cancelling it); it's usually better to take the constantly respawning $ symbol chopper (above) instead.
