History

Update 1: 3/10/04 - Made this using crib guide that had been posted. Too
large for lots of people to download (killed my 56k) so
this FAQ needed to be made.
Update 2: 5/10/04 - Finished the Krypt from the Crib. Not particulary happy
with the fact that there are several repeated items and
some koffins are still unknown to me. Hoping to use
American friends to fix this problem.
Update 3: 7/10/04 - Added some more Koffins people had informed me about.
Still several problems, hoping to fix soon, just updating
so others can see newer things.

The Krypt
=============================================================================
The Krypt was Midway's new idea in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and in MKDA
it was nothing but a pain in the ass the first time you played through, if
you didn't have a guide of some sort. You try finding about 10 characters in
676 boxes without wasting alot of money. Luckily, in Deception, Midway have
improved their Krypt. In Konquest mode, you may find keys to the Koffins,
so it is a whole lot easiest to unlock new characters. However, who wants to
go through this drastically decreased (by 276 koffins!) looking for the
characters that aren't bought with keys? I sure don't, so here is this guide.

Characters

In the Krypt, there will be robots. Well, a picture of Sektor anyway.
There will also be several unlockable characters. These characters are either
unlocked with koins collected or a key that is found in Konquest mode.
Here is the location to the unlockable characters:

Havik - Koffin JS - Key Location - H-4/Chaosrealm (In A House)
Hotaru - Koffin OJ - Key Location - H-1/Orderrealm. (4am-2pm)
Jade - Koffin OI - 2417 Jade Koins.
Kenshi - Koffin ON - Key Location - C-3/Earthrealm.
Kira - Koffin SH -  Key Location - H-2/Earthrealm.
***CONFUSION ABOUT KIRA: Her key is found in a hut, time based (1am-4am)

Also unlockable are characters Alternate Outfits. These rock because
sometimes the normal outfits just plain suck but sometimes the alternate
outfits are even worse ala Sub-Zero. But oh well, they’re fun to have and
play around with.

Shujinko’s Moves

Shujinko is customisable to the extent that you must unlock his moves before
you can use them, so you could find a secret move and thus be a powerhouse
compared to everyone elses Shujinko. To stop that from happening, you must
find the keys.

Arenas
=============================================================================
There are lots of more arenas in MKD. Unfortunately, not all of them are
instantly available. You need to get some in the Krypt, and this makes it
easier than scrolling through the 400 Koffins.
