When you are down by a few points, press L1 + R2 to call the defense
to create an intentional foul. Use this as a strategy to try and tie
the score to go to overtime, assuming the opponent will miss the free
throws.

To do the Vince Carter dunk (under the legs) on a break away, control Stackhouse, Bryant, Carter, Macgrady, or any other good player. Hold Turbo and go up for a dunk. You will make it most of the time.

At tht beginning of a game, pause it, go to options, then NBA rules, then turn off reching in. Then, un-pause it and when the other team gets the ball, stay behind them until they get to half-court then run up to them and keep pushing X until you get the ball. You can do this as many times as needed.
