You can have babies, just put the husband and wife on the bed put relax then click on the dad and the mom, and a small box should appear that says,"try for a baby."
You click on it, and there you go, sometimes you have to keep trying until you hear like a small sound, that means that the mom is pregnant.

I'm not sure ifyou can adopt them.

Sometimes it says "you are new parents!" and you never tried. Because sometimes people just give you one, but be for warn, they are very loud! Because I have that game too and it cried so loud, it woke my whole family up!

are u talking about xbox cause ive completely give up on trying to have a baby on sims2 for xbox an EXPERT says you cant so i beilieve it ill just go buy it for PC...
