It's the first of two Splinter Cell games on the Xbox, the second game released in the late days of March. In this walkthrough you should find all you need to know about Splinter Cell with a walkthrough that's now under construction. The walkthroughs for the easiest levels to get past can be followed so you don't loose one bit of health and the medical kits you collect, don't need to be used once. In the FAQ section I've put questions I think are necessary but email me questions yourself at the email address agent1496@hotmail.com. I hope you enjoy reading this FAQ and you get help where it is needed. ****************************************************************************** 111AB2 Controls ****************************************************************************** A: - Interrogate/Interact/Rapple/Select B: - Crouch/Forward Roll when moving/Move back (when selecting) X: - Draw Weapopn or Gadget/Put away Weapon or Gadget Y: - Jump/Press twice for Double Jump/Split Jump/Sniper on SC-20K Start: - Pause the game Back: - View your OSPAT Left Thumbstick: - Move Sam Fisher around/Faster Fire rate (press) Right Thumbstick: - Move camera angle/Move gun target (first person mode) Right Trigger: - Fire a weapon/Use lock pick Left Trigger: - Fire Sticky Shocker, Sticky Camera etc/Hold snipe target White Button: - Back to wall/Reload Weapon Black Button: - Hold for Weapon and Gadget select Left D-Pad: - Normal Vision/Night Vision Right D-Pad: - Thermal Vision ****************************************************************************** 111AB3 Weapons and Gadgets ****************************************************************************** Pistol: The Pistol should be available in all levels except the CIA level. It's should really only be used to shoot out lights and, in the lower levels, kill guards. SC-20K: The SC-20K is a gun which you get get midway through the CIA level and onwards. It is a fast fire machine gun and a sniper in one. Click the right thumbstick when not on sniper mode for fast fire and Y to go on Sniper Mode. On sniper mode you will find that it is not all that accurate so Hold L to make it more accurate when snipering someone; the extra accuracy will only work for a few seconds though and then you have to wait a few seconds to use it again. Sticky Shocker: When in control of your SC-20K have this selected with and fire it with L. It will shock a guard and make him drop to the floor; he will now be dead but just knocked out. ALso beware that you can not fire it on sniper mode. Ring Airfoil: These work the same as Sticky Shockers however if you fire them at a guard it will only stun them for a few seconds allowing you to grab them. Sticky Camera: Fire them with L on your SC-20K, if you fire it at a wall it will act like a camera on the wall so you can see from it. Also if you fire a few of these at a guard's head it can knock him out and you can go to his body and pick all the sticky cameras back up. Diversion Camera: These work the same as sticky cameras only they have a few extra features on them. When in control of it there is a noise option, which whistles to attract nearby guards over to the camera and a gas option so when the guard is right next to the camera and can't see it you can gas him to knock him out. B is to make noise and Y is for Gas. Smoke Grenade: These again work from your SC-20K and are fired with L. If you fire one at or near some guards it will release smoke and work like the gas feature on a diversion camera only releasing a lot more. Depending on how many guards are nearby you can knock out quite a few guards with one smoke grenade. Lock Pick: Use this to open locked doors, when nearby a door press the Right Trigger to activate it. Then rotate the left thumbstick around until you hear a vibration then stop; repeat until the door is unlocked. Be aware that the Lock Pick can only open locked doors, it can't opened jammed ones. More coming in later versions! ****************************************************************************** 111AB4 Walkthrough ****************************************************************************** I've made the walkthrough easy enough to follow. During every level, as you progress into them you get save checkpoints. As I walk through the level the areas where the save checkpoints are, are shown. As I write the the walkthrough, I split it the levels up into sections; those are where the save checkpoints are found. Also included during the walkthrough are notes. These will tell extra bits of information, help or alternative ways to do things. There may also be secrets which will be a smaller section telling you where the secret is and what it's there for. ############################################################################## 111AC4 Training ############################################################################## Start the mission by jumping following Lambert’s instructions. Then grab onto the ledge pull yourself right and then up. Go right up the ladder and jump to zip wire to the next platform. Climb down the pipe and duck under the barbed wire. You are able to do a Split Jump to your left. After that move on, to jump onto a pole. Monkey bar across then bring your legs up and carry on. When you’re at the other side climb over the fence and go left. Put your back to the wall and walk left through the secret passage. Do it again on the opposite part to reach the next area. Climb the ladder and slide down the pole. Then it looks like you’re at a dead end. However, double jump to the ledge and make your way over. Drop down and wait for the large door to open go through and wait for it to load. *Secret* There’s a secret in this part of the level while you’re here. It starts back at the start. Double jump onto a ledge on the right and go through the door to find a lock pick on the shelf. Go back and go through the obstacle course to the end where you need to double jump over the wall. Lock pick the door on the right and go inside to get a data sick from the computer. Then go all the way back to the start and double jump on the opposite wall. Look in your notes and to find the key code to this keypad door which should be 5656. Go inside to a woman who you can have a chat with. No who she is? Anna Grimsdottir! Save Checkpoint Head into the room and use the lock pick on the door. Go through and crouch go quietly left round the boxes and sneak behind the guard. (Don’t let him hear you or you’ll fail) Grab him and interrogate him for the key code. Knock him out when you have it and type it in to enter the next room. Sneak behind the next guard, grab him and put his eye to the scanner. When done knock him out and make your way through. Go through the door on your left and pull out your pistol. Shoot the first two lights above you. Then against the wall shoot the as many lights as you can without the camera seeing you. Move into the shadows and shoot the rest. When they’re all shot out, it will be dark so turn on your night vision and head through the door below the camera. In the next room, move along the wall on the left. You’ll hear a camera. Take out your pistol and shoot in from the corner, so you can’t hear its noise any more. Go through the door on your right to the next room. You’ll need good eyesight for this or it might be me playing a far distance from the T.V. When the camera turns away from you, crouching, move to the box and stay crouched. Then face the camera, staying crouched, and wait for it to turn right. Once it does head towards the door. Still crouched sneak behind the guard and find some shadows when you’ve grabbed him. Knock him out in then staying quiet, in the shadows. Wait for the patrolling guard to pass and not find you or the body. When he’s gone, go through the door in front of the guard you grabbed. *Secret* Instead of going through the door, head right and through that door. Sneak behind the guard who is still and was patrolling, and grab him and knock him out. This does nothing special, just a bit of fun. Stay crouched all the time through this part. Why, because it’s to test the ability of how much sound you make; so do it slowly. Jump down quietly and jump up and go right. Jump up onto the wooden floor and avoiding touching the chains make your way down and left. Then go quietly across the stuff on the floor to the door on your right. I can’t remember the exact words Lambert says now but I like them so I’ll put them in. He says, "Fisher, have you started yet? Holy Christmas you’re at the end, phenomenal work lets move on." Then when you’ve gone through the door, go in another door on the right for a cut-scene. It will show you Lambert congratulating you into the NSA (National Security Agency) ############################################################################## 111AD4 Police Station ############################################################################## You start off in the streets; head up the steps and grab onto the ladder. Make your way to the roof, open the trap door and jump down. Crouch and turn on your night vision. Go through the passage and climb up a pole. Then zip wire into a fiery building. Save Checkpoint Go through the door, ignore what Grisdottir is saying; head left into another room and out of it to a flight of stairs. Go up and monkey bar across the pole to the other side. Go through the door on the right and through another open door diagonal from you. Go up the last flight of stairs and through the door to find your man dying on the floor. Speak to him to get information and when he dies go through the door on the west side of the room. Then you’ll get to a black room where there’s loads of smoke. So from the outside, turn on your night vision and look inside. Take out your pistol and shoot the skylight to clear some of the smoke. Then go in and go through a door on your right. Save Checkpoint Go through the next door and crouch. Quietly move across the balcony so you’re not heard by the guards. Then when you get to a gap, jump across and crouch. Stay crouched all the time in this next part. Move left to find a guard having a conversation. When it’s finished Go to the end and drop into the plants. Move right to the end and sneak out and up the steps. Go between the double doors and the next window and wait for the guard to come out. When he has a conversation Go into the double doors and left up the stairs. Few, you can stand up again now. Go down the hallway to the door before the end for a medical kit. Then go into the last doorway and look for a painting. Slide it open and use the computer. Now go to door which is locked by a keypad and look in your notes. It should be 091772, so put it in. and go through. Save Checkpoint Zip wire across to the next roof tops and go into the door on the left. Slide down the pole, open the trap door and go through. Locks pick the door and go through. Save Checkpoint Sneak down the stairs to the shadows. Then go down the next set of stairs (crouching) half way and look left and jump onto a ledge. Go across right, to the end and pull your self up. Crouch, and jump into the plants. Sneak to the end and wait for the patrolling guard to come. Once he goes, follow him up the hallway sticking to the left hand side and stop in the shadows and wait for him to turn round and look towards you. When he goes and is out of sight look at the window at the far end. When the patrolling guard in there is gone, sneak up to the shadows beside the stairs. When the guard comes back wait for him to pass and look into the window again. When the guard is gone sneak up the stairs sticking to the right wall. When you get to a fountain avoid the guard in the window and make into the bushes at the far right end. Turn on your night vision, crouch and go through the passage. Save Checkpoint Get the two medical kits and the ammunition and then use the computer. Head back out into the bushes, where you can't be seen, and look around. When the man disappears from the window and the guard has walked out of your way head through the gate and wait in the shadows on your right. Look on your left ahead of you and wait for the guard to pass left. Follow him, staying in the shadows as much as you can until you come to a long dark alley that he will go up. When the guard walks on, run past the first light patch, into the next shadow patch. When the two guards walk past you together go into the next and wait for the man to pass. Move on into the shadows on the other side of the right gate and wait. When the coast is clear, move onto the other side of the gate and climb the pole. If you are heard while climbing on, quickly climb up and hide in between the middle of two light buildings until all goes quiet again. On the other side, jump onto the man to kill him and hide the body in shadows quickly. Jump onto the dumpster, and double jump onto the wall before you're seen and wait for the game to load. Save Checkpoint Head down the stairs and into the door to type in the code 5929. Wait for the guard to go and then split jump between the walls and wait for him to come back. When he walks under you, jump on him and hide his body in the shadows where you entered. Go passed the jail cells and into the door on your left to get a data stick from the computer. Go back out, head on and duck under the window. Sneak under the window and into the room. When the has stopped and is checking, sneak up behind him and grab him. When you've got information knock him out and shoot out the nearby lights to hide the body; now enter the other door in this room. Standing in the doorway, however lit up you are, get a good shot on the camera in the top left corner to destroy it. Go up, to the bodies and wait for Lambert to speak and then head out of the two rooms and back into the other room. Get a data stick from the computer and head back out into the corridor. Head left down it and go through the door. Run upstairs for a save checkpoint to save your game. Save Checkpoint Go through the door and wait until the conversation has finished. Hide behind the wall on the right and slowly move down it crouching. Come out at the end and stay in the shadows. Crouch past the double doors, staying in the shadows, and go into the room behind where the man is sitting. Crouch past the doorway on the opposite side and go into the door on your right. Crouch up the stairs to reach your next save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Turn on your night vision so you can see him properly,and crouch behind the guard nearest to you sitting down and grab him. Take him back to the shadows at the top of the stairs and knock him out. Now do the same with the man on the far side of the room and knock him out in the same place. Still crouching, enter the door at the top right hand corner of the room. With your night vision on, sneak through the curtains and grab the guard. Knock him out behind the curtains, where the shadows are and get a data stick from his satchel. Now go back through the curtains and use the red computer. Go back out and pick up a data stick from one of the computers. Lock pick the door on the far left of the room to find some ammunition if you need it. Go back out, enter the open door you haven't been in yet and get a data stick from the computer. Head back down the stairs and back into the room behind the man sitting down. Crouch back across it, through the doorway, and into the double doors outside. Run to the van to complete the mission; if you followed this mission walkthrough fully, you shouldn't have had to use any medical kits and finish with full health. ############################################################################## 111AE4 Georgian Defense Ministry ############################################################################## Go up to the pipe on the roof and rappel down it; abseil down to the third window and jump into it. Turn on your night vision and crouch to the end of the bookcase to see a guard enter the room. When he enters the aisle in front of you, follow him, grab him and knock him out where he is. Come out of the aisle, turn off your night vision and get a clean shot at the camera on the top right wall of the room and then go and get a data stick from the computer. Go out if the door on the right and watch the patrolling guard. When he walks away from the near shadows, sneak up to the shadows and enter the door on the left. Go down the first set of stairs and go about a quarter of way the down the second; get your pistol out. Shoot the camera and carry on going down the next set of stairs. On the next one go a quarter of the way down and shoot the next camera. Go down the last two sets of stairs and save your game. Save Checkpoint Go through the door until you hear the camera. Take out your pistol and get one clean shot in to disable it. Move left into the shadows and crouch, following them round until you reach a blue car. You'll hear another camera but as long as you stay in the shadows the whole way through it won't see you. Follow the shadows down to another car and to the end of the wall. Wait for the man to face the walls in the shadows then sneak behind him, grab him and interrogate him. Once you've finished, knock him out in the shadows and follow the shadows back, still crouching to find a guard. Creep behind him, grab him and knock him out. Head back out of the door you entered and go up the stairs all the way to the top. Grab the medical kit; go down one set of stairs and back through the door. Sneak left, against the wall, grab the guard and knock him out in the shadows. Go further down the hall and open the door on the right. Get your pistol out in the doorway and shoot the camera above. Get information from both computers then lock pick the door and go outside. A cut scene will show a window opening so obviously that is where you need to get; save your game before you do anything else. Save Checkpoint Jump onto the fence and jump again to grab hold of a pipe on the wall. Move across right until you get to the window then drop down and crouch. Drop off the window sill and stay into the shadows when the guard enters the room. When he's finished, gone out of the room and the door is shut behind him, grab a bottle to your right. Throw it into the freezer to your left and hide in the shadowed are in between the cupboard with the bottle on and the huge cupboard. When they've both gone to search the freezer switch off the lights via the switch on the right of the door the guard went out. Turn on your night vision and knock one of them out who comes back. Then go to the cook crouched in the freezer room, knock him out too and switch the freezer room switch off too. Go back into the kitchen and enter the door the guard went out of. Crouching full speed, hide behind the nearest door on the left and knock the guard out in surprise when he enters. Hide his body in the shadows and quietly go out into the light room. Quietly sneak down the steps on the right, sneak behind the guard and grab him. Take him deep into the shadows on the left hand side and knock him out. Crouch down again and really quietly go down the stairs on the left. At the bottom, do a 180 degrees turn your left and sneak into the shadowy area. Sneak behind the guard to your left, grab him and knock him out in the shadowy area. Sneak back over to the computer; use it and when Lambert talks about a colonel coming, hide back in the shadows. When he comes and sits at the computer you used, sneak over to him and grab him. Take him back to the shadowy area and make him use the Retinal Scanner on the left. When you're granted access, knock him out in the shadows and get a medical kit from his satchel. Enter the room the scanner opened for a save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Go to the end of the wall, staying at one on your stealth meter. Watch the camera and when it moves left run through the double doors for a cut scene. Take out you laser mic and use it on the lift in the left corner of the area as it goes up. When Lambert speaks again hide in the shadows on the right and wait for the guards to come out. When the two guards finish searching the area your in, hug the right wall to the edge of the light. Once the guards aren't able to see you, cross it and sneak over the to the vines you need to climb. Once you're at the top climb into the open window and jump down to get a loading and save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Enter the door on the right and put your back to the right wall. Wait for two guards to go past, come off the wall and crouch. Still by the wall get ready as the two guards come past again. One will carry one past you; don't worry about him. Once the second guard to come turns around to walk back, hugging the left wall, use the switch and enter the lift; you want to go up to the next floor. Once you're there you get a save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Head left hugging the wall, lock pick the first door as fast as you can and go inside. Note: If the guard catches you before you manage to unlock the door, you need to practice on speed. Use the computer for a data stick then jump on the desk and look up. Facing in the direction of the door in the room, grab the left ledge of the vent and pull you yourself up. Move across and jump down through the next vent. Move across to the boxes on your right and take out your pistol. Get a good clean shot at the camera to destroy it. Move down the hallway towards the ruined camera and enter the door to your left. Collect some pistol ammo and a medical kit then climb up the ladder, through a trap door and onto the roof. Move across the roof to the edge to find a rappelling spot and a save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Rappel down just above the window and take your pistol. Get a clean shot at the guard's head. Fire twice through the window to make sure he's dead and drop down into the room. Get something from his satchel and use the computer in red. Lambert will speak and has he does, go to the edge of the broken window and fall down slightly; Fisher should automatically hang onto the ledge. Suddenly, Grinko will speak and guards will infiltrate the office; stay as you are and they won't find you. When they leave Lambert will speak again; pull yourself up and use the computer again. Crouch to the door for another save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Go left down the corridor and into the open door. Make your way down the stairs to pick up another medical kit. Run down the stairs at full speed, go left, up, leap across to pole on the lift and slide down it not worrying about the voices or the gunfire if you hear any. Run left across the car park and speak to the man to complete the mission. ############################################################################## 111AF4 Oil Rig ############################################################################## Look right to see a ladder; climb it. Go right from here and walk across the pipe to the barbed wire. Jump up to the pipe, lift your legs up and move across to the other side. Drop down to come to what looks like a dead end. Drop and hang on your right then hang move across to the other side. Get back onto the pipe and walk right for a save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Move to the platform on your right then jump up to zip wire into an explosion. You should automatically come off and drop off the platform to hang. Get up and move left across the platform to climb a pole. At the top go left and drop into the burnt part of the pipe. Turn on your night vision and carry on going left under the pipe and you should eventually come to a loading point. When it has loaded you get a save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Head up the ladder and through the trap door for a cut scene. Move round the left side of the platform and climb a ladder. When you get to the top, jump onto a platform to your right. Go left and jump onto a box; jump onto a pipe, put your feet up and move across. On your way you get a cut scene of American war planes. Nothing new happen that affects you so ignore it. Once you're at the end over a platform wait for a guard to stop underneath you; jump from the pip onto the guard knocking him out. From here, head left up the stairs and move to the shadowed wall. When you see the guard come with the gun wait. When he goes back move to the pipe. When he comes again kill him with your pistol. Ignore the body and move left; wait by the second turning and watch the guards move. When they turn the next corner, move towards the water tank on the right for a save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Switch the object on the water tank on to make it burst. Then go behind it and hide the brown part. When the guards investigate and are facing away from you sneak round the machines and head down the hall, past the open door and into a fiery scene for a save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Head past the first bit of fire and jump onto a platform to your right; jump onto the pipe above, put your feet up and move to the window. Wait a bit until the window smashes and watch a cut scene of guards destroying computers. Move into the room and drop down the floor. Move to the shadows on your left and get your pistol ready. Don't kill the guard yet but when he runs around and is in your site, kill him; if you can get a clean shot in the head. Hide the body in the shadows then find two medical kits on the shelves and some pistol ammo near the desk; when you’re done head out of the door and up the stairs for a cut scene. Get ready for a bun battle straight after; go up stairs and get the guard on your right then look behind you to your left and shoot the guard on the balcony. When you’ve done that, go into the room straight ahead of you to find a medical kit in their. If the music of a guard finding something comes on, wait until it finishes and go back outside. Get a data stick from a satchel of a dead man to the right then go right down a passage for a cut scene showing the technician who you’ve seen in another cut scene during this level. Go right, down the stairs and kill a guard running all over the place. There are no more guards during this level so use your medical kits for the health you’ve lost if it makes you feel any better. From the stairs, go left to a plain door that has a little sign saying no smoking on. You can go through any of the two doors to finish the mission but I’ll guide you from the right because I feel like it. Go up to the door to the right of the room for a save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Lock pick the door, avoiding the explosion which blocks your way back, then enter. Go through to the next door and follow the path to another explosion. Go right and right again to see the technician running off; follow him down the stairs, left across the platform, down more stairs and left down the last set of stairs. He’ll crouch down scared; grab him and interrogate him. When he says "I swear that’s all I know," knock him out, pick up his satchel for a data stick and pick up the briefcase to complete the mission; a quick easy one for you. Using your medical kits to heal yourself and avoiding that explosion right after the last checkpoint you should come out of it full health. ############################################################################## 111AG4 CIA Headquarters ############################################################################## Do this first part quick as you only have a certain amount of time. Crouch full speed forward to watch a guard go the opposite way that you do. Ignore him and move towards the entrance. Get over the first small wall quietly and sneak in the direction of the van to the other wall. Get over this quietly and guards talking to each other by the van should hear you. Before they see you climb up the pipe to your right and at the top jump over to the roof of the entrance on your right. Move across to the open vent and head through. Open the trap door and quietly drop down for your first save checkpoint; the timer will have stopped now. Save Checkpoint Move quietly to the left of what you landed on and drop quietly to the ground. Move quietly down the hall hiding on the left of the tables near the pillars. When you reach the fourth pillar move over to the shadows on your diagonal left. Quietly jump over this coffee table type thing to reach the desk. Jump quietly over the desk, sneak up to the guard, grab him and knock him out by the right of the computer. Sneak over to the door and use the optic cable on it. When the patrolling guard stops right of the door and turns back go through the door and hide to your right. When the guard is now at the under end of the room wait for him to start patrolling again head down the left aisle. At the bottom when, the guard goes to the top of the room again go through the door to right then head left through the open door. Move right for a save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Now go left into a room where a guy’s on his phone talking to someone. Sneak behind him and walk to the centre of both plants in the light so the guard sees you. As soon as he does, crouch full speed back and sneak behind the wall towards the elevator on the other side of the room. Go down the floor below; and go left for a load point and when it’s loaded a save checkpoint. Save Checkpoint Quickly turn the corner and wait; someone comes out of a room and into another room. Go into the door he came out of before it shuts and get a data stick from the computer. Go back outside, continue down the hallway and when the coast is clear, go into the shadows on your right and look round the corner to see two guards having a conversation. When they’ve finished the conversation and the coast is clear, move into the shadows under the window. When you’re sure you’re unseen move into the shadows left of the drink machines. Staying in the shadows, move over to the window on the left so you can move the camera angle to see the guard. When he looks away and the other guard the patrolling guard isn’t there sneak up and grab the stationary guard by the keypad and take him down the corridor a bit and into a lit up room on the left; knock him out in here and turn the lights off. Look outside and wait for the other guard patrolling the corridors to come down here and turn back. When he turns back you should have enough time to do what you need to do before he comes back. Come out and hide behind the door to your right. Watch the guard in the window; when he looks into the corridor and through the window when he turns back, quietly go into the room, sneak up behind him, grab him and knock him out in the corner. Go back out onto the other side of the door again and wait for the guard; when he turns back again go up to the keypad. Look in your notes to find the key code to the Technical Services room; 7687. When you enter the room move into the shadows on your left; watch the patrolling guard move around the room. When he stops in the dead end of machines to your right sneak up behind, grab him, take him into the shadows, where you were hiding and knock him out. The other guard will hear this; when he comes to investigate go up to him and punch him. While he’s distracted, punch him again to knock him out. Hide his body |
