Assassin's Creed Hints

The crossbow does not exist. Even though it was shown in the commercial or whatever. It DOESN'T exist.

The commercial was simply a teaser trailer, released before the game was nearing completion. They planned on putting a crossbow in, but didn't for some reason.

I figured it out heres two tips but im not giving away the actual code just so i dont spoil it too much

when you use eagle vision to the left of the animus you will see a bunch of random letters in the shape of the a square(to figure this out you may need a pencil and paper)but read the letters from the bottom right and move up the letters will make a word and then move to the column to the left of it and repeat till the last column put the words together and make a sentance and do the same to the triangular shape to the right of the animus both messages are pretty creepy but ive spent alot i mean ALOT of time on these messages the only ones i cant desipher are the ones in chinese if you have any questions, comments, or just need some help with the code send me a message i'll get back with you whenever i can

If you are being chased by guards, and two or more guards try to block off the street by holding up their swords and striking you when you get close enough, there is a way around this. You could simply ignore them and go to another street, or you can do the wall-run. If you time it just right, you can run over to the wall, and go diagnolly into it, and you will do a wall run right over the guards' heads.

Note: you must have the "counter attack" capability (RT + X while in a fight)

attack once ( X ) as soon as, and if you do, hit your opponent press RT and spam click X. You will be attacking but the game will say you are countering. You deal damage too. As soon as another opponent tried to hit you you will spin round and counter it immediately. But after that you must attack normally again press RT after etc.

1 attack with X
2 as soon as you hear the clash of the sword press RT and spam-click X
3 if you do a counter attack you must repeat the process from step one.


if you don't you will just stand there waving your sword up and down.

An easy to apply tip, I assume you can switch weapons quickly during combat.

Whilst in a fight with only a few enemies(about 1-4, 6-8 if you're good)grab one and throw him to the ground (or wall if you are in a hurry), quickly untarget the annoyingly automatically targeted random guard nearby and select the hidden blade, walk up to the body of the thrown guard and press "X" (i.e. Assassinate) this will swiftly dispatch him.

In short, throw guard to ground, select hidden blade, stab in face.

Once you beat the game and wait after the credits, you can go back in the Animus, and you can ACTUALLY attack the civilians without your synchronization depleting!

Ok, that blade thingy that you can αssαssinate people with... If you go into battle, you must switch to this wepon, which most people wouldn't do.

It's posssible to counter with this, which is an instant kill, however, you can't attack with it, so use it only if you're good at countering.
