Call of Duty: World at War Review :

One of the best WWII games

by pokemonmasterjustin Oct 13, 2010

Call of Duty: World at War became a platinum hit game easily. it was another successful game crated by the one and only Treyarch! Once I got the game, I realized that some of the events in the game actually happened in real life! Call of Duty: World at War easily caught my attention, and became a good game to play on the Xbox 360. Especially the graphics, sounds, and game play. Plus a good story line and a good lasting appeal. The bottom line is, I thought it was an overall action packed and thrilling game. So now, I would like to tell you everything about World at War! I guarantee you that you will enjoy the game as much as I did!

8Story line
The whole game takes place during Worl War II. You play a Pvt. Miller, an American soldier, and fight in the Pacific WWII. But in European WWII, you play as Pvt. Petrinko, a Soviet Russia soldier, and he fights against the brutal Nazis. It's a good story, but it's still kinda what I expected.
Grapichs: Pretty Good! This is one game that clearly shows how bad you can get hurt in the war, in some pretty AWESOME grapichs!
Sounds are good too. Most of the sounds came straight from World War II, like the gunfire, explosions, etc.
Ganeplay is top-notch! Even though the campaign ins't perfect, you can have a buddy to help you out in co-op missions. You can also play in multiplay maps on LIVE! And... as a new touch... Nazi Zombies, which place you in an abondonded site and you must defend yourself against the Nazi Zombies.
8Lasting Appeal
The game might be pretty good overall, but the appeal didn;t last forever for me. It lasted for a month or two, but then it starts to get a little boring after a while. But I think it's a while compared to how long other games last.
