So I am at the end of the game (second to last duel I believe) and I don't really know how to duel. So far I have just been winging it. Basically, my tv ****s so I cannot read any text on the screen. From what I can gather you just strafe to keep the enemy slightly to your right, mess with the right thumb-stick to keep your hand near your holster then when you hear the bell, click Right on the right thumb-stick to grab the gun then Up to pull the gun out. Im thinking pressing the thumb-stick Up is unnecessary, do I only need to click over Right when I hear the bell? Also, does it help to lower your right hand a little, I had success with this during previous duels.
I don't really know what the problem is with this duel, I get the drop on the guy and have a split second of red reticle in which to shoot him and I hit the trigger but to no avail, no bullet comes out of my gun and he somehow shots me while I'm trying to get my gun to shoot, Im also debating using a newer controller.
