I love this game and like helping people so I made this walkthrough. I totally admit that Zkeene's (on gamefaqs) FAQ/Walkthrough has way more content and more in-depth than mine. My guide is simply for the common player who loves this game as I do and is just simply stuck on a part. This game is called Castlevania Symphony of the Night it is about a descendant of the famous vampire called Count Dracula. The main character is named Alucard he is the son of Count Dracula he helped out Trevor Belmont and after went into what is called an eternal sleep that he was supposed to be asleep well for eternity. He was awoken up by evil spirits (or something like that) and he went to the castle that seems to have come every century (100 years) of Dracula lord of the vampires, but before he woke up Richter Belmont went to the castle to defeat Count Dracula and he was successful, but he disappeared after defeated Dracula and no one knows where he went. But Maria went looking for him and saw a castle that was said only to have been seen once every century and that is where Maria went to save Richter. Press R1 and you will be able to fly, makes some parts of the castle more available to you. ============== ECHO OF BAT ============== Press Triangle to use this ability, when you are in a dark area you can use it to gain knowledge of the surroundings. Main use is in the catacombs. ============== SOUL OF WOLF ============== Allows Alucard to turn into a Wolf. Press square to howl attacks units if close enough. ============== SKILL OF WOLF ============== Allows Wolf Charge ability (see further down the walkthrough). ============== POWER OF MIST ============== Allows Alucard to turn into Mist. It will allow you to move through grates and small pathing blockers. Some areas of the castle are now available to you. Only lasts for a second just enough for you to get past the doors. ============== Cube of Zoe ============== Allows you to drop money, hearts & sub weapons from Candles. Without it you wouldn't be able to get hearts, sub weapons. ============== GRAVITY BOOTS ============== With the use of Down + UP + X, you do a huge vertical jump. Takes magic but not a lot. Some areas of the castle can be available to you but you can also get there with the bat. ============== HOLY SYMBOL ============== Allows Alucard to not take damage to being underwater. ============== JEWEL OF OPEN ============== Allows magically sealed doors to open. Buy at Long Library. ============== BAT CARD ============== Allows use of the Bat Familiar. Part I Alucard ****************************************************************************** * Introduction to Alucard (V) ****************************************************************************** Alucard is son of Dracula he can turn into a bat, mist and wolf. He Can equip swords, clubs, shields and use potions and a whole bunch of other stuff.He can learn many spells and he relies on old relics to aid him in his journey in Castlevania. And he can find five familiars (six if you have the Saturn Version) they are: first is the Fairy (Faerie), Second is the Ghost, Third is the Demon, and fourth is the Sword, the Fifth is the bat. They all are different and useful. ****************************************************************************** Alucard's weapons (VI) ****************************************************************************** Alucard can equip in both hands a sword, shield, bomb, potion or use both hands for a two handed sword. He can wear a helmet, circlet or hat. You can change his cloak to a different color and eventually to one you can customize. Lastly he can equip two accesories. These range from a wide variety of items from boots that raise Alucard's height by a measly pixel to a Ring of Arcanna that increases item drop rate. Usually accesories enhance your stats while others can make healing more efficient or being able to take a random hit. ****************************************************************************** Alucard's sub weapons (VII) ****************************************************************************** Alucard can have sub weapons or special weapons that can help Alucard in his Journey, they require the use of hearts. They are: BOTTLE OF HOLY WATER: when thrown fire springs up in the place it lands, Causing damage. HOLY BOOK: unleashing the holy words in these books causes damage to your Evil opponents. KNIFE: use to attack enemies in front of you the knife is fast but not very Powerful. REBOUND STONE: A special stone that rebounds from the floor or walls when it Hits them. BIBUTI: The embodiment of holy ashes created by a saint. Damages any enemies That it touches. AXE: An effective weapon to throw at enemies if you want to cause damage from A distance. Very effective against flying enemies. CROSS: The most powerful Special weapon attacks all enemies on screen. CLOCK: Stops time for enemies. However, there are some enemies on which it Has little or no effect. AGUNEA: Strikes enemies with sacred lightning. When it hits, you can continue The attacks by holding down the attack button until all your hearts are gone. (My personal favorite sub weapon is strong but takes a lot of hearts) If you still have the booklit from the game these descriptions came from there. ****************************************************************************** * Alucard's familiars (VIII) ****************************************************************************** Alucard has 5 familiars they are: faerie, ghost, demon, sword, and the bat, but In the Saturn version (the Japanese version) there is the Sprite and two Versions of the demon. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. The Faerie can heal you with potions without you equipping one and using it. The Demon can hit switches in one part of the castle, when leveled up he learns elemental attacks to his arsenal. The bat brings additional bats when you yourself turn into a bat. The Higher the level the more bats he brings along. When you use your fire ability of the bat the additional bats will fire as well. The Ghost is probably the most forgotten, his ability is he sucks onto enemies and takes out damage like that, sucking to take damage to the enemy. Most times he's not fast enough. He makes up for this when you level him up he ends up healing you every time he sucks damage out of enemies, which can be beneficial if you are low on life. Lastly is the Sword at first he is incredibly oblivious and stupid to everything (for the most part all familiar are like this). As he progresses he gets more useful and on top of that he gets cool addons to his sword. He starts to get more embellished with addons and it makes him look cooler than he just was. He also starts to fly around the room at mach speed and kill most things before you even get your hands on them to attack them. ****************************************************************************** * Alucard's special moves (IX) ****************************************************************************** Alucard has special magic moves. The spells are very useful when in need of help. **************** Key: U: up D: down L: left R: right RL: combination so you do right left or most times right down in order to do a Certain spell. I suggest that you do not buy them. That is completely a waste of money, all you have to do is input the combo and the spell will be achieved. **** Before we get to the walkthrough if you are here to just jump to a section that you have already been to and remember the name of the section you don't have to fruitlessly search the document. I have a list of the name and exactly how they are spelled and all you do is use ctrl + F or apple + F for Mac OSX. After you type it press enter and it will most likely take you to the section desired but you might have to hit next more so that you get to the section heading. This only goes for Alucard! Hope you have fun playing my favorite game of all time!!! ============================================================================== WALKTHROUGH OF FIRST CASTLE (X) ============================================================================== You start out the game as Richter Belmont and fight Dracula. There is no way For you to die, but if you can defeat Dracula without being hit once or obtaining any sub weapon you will start out with better stats with Alucard. ============================================================================== THE BEGINNING SUGGESTED LEVEL: 1 (DUH) ITEMS: pot roast, turkey, short sword, red rust, cube of Zoe ============================================================================== Once you have beaten Dracula you will be in control of Alucard. You should be in the courtyard, there is a Warg in front of you. Use the square button to attack him. Then move into the next room. You should be in a dark room where another Warg is, then another one and after the second zombies will come from the ground. Then you should see 2 more Warg's, then you will find yourself in a big room with bats at the top. Go where there are lots of rocks and attack the front to get a POT ROAST. If you go down you will see lots of mermen. I would train here until level 8 DON'T go in the water it will drain you of Hit Points. Once you have gotten to level 8 you might be low on hip points, but if you want you can use the pot roast. Continue to the next room to find 3 Warg's just hit them once to kill them. Then you should encounter Death who talks to you, he will then takes your weapons. Good thing you trained with the best equipment. And don't forget to get a turkey before seeing death by the stairs (break the stair). Then when you have talked with Death go to the next room and jump on the platforms. Then jump over the gap and into the next room. You will see a Bone scimitar he will drop a short sword, equip the sword. Next go straight into the room that is after the bone scimitar and you will find that it is blocked off (for now), then go back and go up and kill the skeleton; it will give you a Red Rust. Do not equip the red rust it is weaker and can poison you after you use it several times of using the sword. Next go in the room straight in front of you and save your game. Then go up and get the Cube of Zoe, now you can get items from candles (huh reah). Then go through the door and you will be in the Alchemy Laboratory. ============================================================================== ALCHEMY LABORATORY SUGGESTED LEVEL: 8 ITEMS: Hide cuirasses, leather shield, resist thunder, cloth cape, sunglasses, Basilard, potion. ============================================================================== When you get into the laboratory you should see 3 types of skeletons; bone scimitar, blood skeleton and a throwing skeleton. Hit the Scimitar twice to kill it then get the hide Cuirass by activating the switch on the ground. Then you should see more skeletons and a save room by the first blood skeleton. Then go up and past the other skeleton to find a knight hit him 3 times or so to kill him then kill the two bone scimitars. Then go down by pressing down X to go down, and then hit the table to get a leather shield. Now go to the next room to find the knife sub weapon in a candle on top of the platform, then go to the wall on the left and hit it 3 times, it should break. You will get a heart max up, then go down below the platform and attack the center to break the ground. You should get the life max up, then continue to go up to find another skeleton and then hit the glass to get a resist thunder. Continue going up to find a spittle skeleton which when touched by the liquid you will be poisoned. Then hit the two switches, the spikes should come down, and then move the block in the opposite direction of the knight. Then activate the switch to the right of the block, it should move up, then jump on it and go to the room up there. You will find the cloth cape, then go back and go the other way. next you will find a big room, go down and up and find a save. continue up until you find the axe sub weapon in a candle keep the axe instead of the knife. Next go to the room where the boss is. ______________________________________________________________________________ | BOSS BATTLE 200 HP EACH | | SLOGRA & GAIBON | | | |____________________________________________________________________________| What the strategy is here, is you use the axe to throw at Slogra, because Gaibon picks up Slogra so when he does this use the axe until Slogra dies. Then attack Gaibon, use the shield when he uses fire balls or multiple fire balls. And when he uses a series of big fire balls duck and be close to him to attack him. _____________________________________________________________________________ Then go onto the next room to find more skeletons and a bloody zombie. Then go in the room that is straight across from the bloody zombie. Then go down the elevator to get the sunglasses I suggest you don't equip them. Then go down and hit the cannon to get the Basilard then go back to where the bloody zombie was and go up instead of straight. Next go save in the room to the right go up and to the next room to be in a hallway with bloody zombies. Then you will be in a big room jump down and try moving to the left to avoid being hit by the knight. Then hit the glass to get a potion. The other side has a knight, after that explore the room then go through the door to be in the Marble Gallery. ============================================================================== MARBLE GALLERY SUGGESTED LEVEL: 8 ITEMS: hammer, strength potion, spirit orb, shield potion ============================================================================== When you walk past the door you will find 3 knights in your way. Then you will find another knight, jump down and straight ahead is a save. Go down to the next room to find a Slinger, block then kill it, then you should meet a Marionette then continue on to find a spirit orb. Now you can see how much damage you take out. Then go to the next room. Just jump down in the middle (if you hit the candles you will receive all hearts except one money bag, then you should be in a room where it is red in the background. You will encounter a Plate lord use your sub weapon and some spells to kill him. Then you will find 3 Skelerang which throw Boomerangs. Then you will encounter Ghosts, they respawn and are prevalent(So just run through, don't stay around that area). Then you can get the knife sub weapon get that instead of what you have. Then go left and towards where the candles are. You should encounter a Cthilu if you want you can throw the knives at it or do some spells and hit it then go ballistic and use anything to kill him (if you take a lot of time to kill him, he will do this wave attack that takes out 50-70 Hp and you will basically be dead so that is why I told you to kill him fast. Then go through the door to get a shield potion. You have gone in a circle, so go back into the room you just came from and dodge the Cthilu because he can take a good deal of damage on you. Then once you have gotten back go up and continue going that way, you should be in an area with clocks in the background, and then you should see a cut scene involving Maria. After you have talked to her continue to the next room. Then you will come to where you can choose 3 ways just go straight and you will be in a long hallway containing 2 Red Roses and 3 Diplomatesus things. Then get the axe sub weapon in the candle at the end of the hallway, then when you have gotten the axe go through the door. And now you are in the Outer Wall, Good Job!!! ============================================================================== OUTER WALL SUGGESTED LEVEL: 9 ITEMS: Zircon, pot roast, jewel knuckle, Mirror cuirass, gladius, soul of wolf ============================================================================== Once you have gotten through the door go break the vase in front of you to get a Zircon, and then go down. Then kill the armor lord (the axes help). Then go in the room and destroy the wall to get a pot roast. Then stay under for about 10 seconds and an elevator will come down. Then you get the jewel knuckle and the mirror cuirass. Equip the mirror cuirass and if you want you can equip the jewel knuckle. If you do equip it you will loose your range that a sword has that the jewel knuckle does not have. Then go back on the elevator and go back up. Then go down and explore down there. Then after head up and then go left into a room to find an axe knight then go save, when you are done with this room. Then go up to a boss battle. ______________________________________________________________________________ DOPPLEGANGER 10 120 HP My strategy is to keep your shield out and hit him with your axe sub weapon, and then if you run out of hearts go for the offensive. This battle is really a joke Slogra and Gaibon were harder than your copycat, but if you for some reason kept the watch sub weapon or like it better you can use it here and it will make the Doppleganger stop and you have free aim to hit him. ______________________________________________________________________________ Then after he is dead go on and you will get the sword called gladius. Then go straight and walk up to the edge of the hole get close and then jump and then break the vase to get a life max up (if you could not get this or don't want to it will be easier later with the accumulation of more relics. Then go up and you will encounter skeleton, skeleton ape, spear guard, axe knight, skeleton, and archer and bone musket. You will see a door go in and where the key hole is press up and you will teleport to the entrance area. Get the heart max up and then come back. Then go up and fight a sword lord then go up and to the left to find a switch hit it 3 times and the elevator should be activated. Then go to the elevator and get the soul of the wolf then go all the way to the top where a save is. Then go as the wolf by the vase where you activated the elevator and get a heart max up. Then go to the elevator and go down once then go through the door. ============================================================================== LONG LIBRARY SUGGESTED LEVEL: 11 ITEMS: uncurse X2 (respawn), Bronze cuirass, Faerie scroll, jewel of open (BUY), Saber, leather hat (PURCHASE LAST 2 ITEMS), ============================================================================== When you get here you should see 3 Dhuron hit them 3 times each. Then go into the room straight ahead. You should find a Dhuron and lots of fleaman. Then a room with just fleaman you will be now be under the Librarian. Next get the Bronze Cuirass then head back and go up. You should see another enemy called ectoplasm, do not get touched by it or you will be cursed (when you are cursed you cannot attack or use spells if you have an uncurse you can use it to relive your status). Then you will meet the spell book which will be hidden until you come close then you will encounter a thorn weed duck down and press the down and left/right button to attack diagonally. You will have the decision of choosing up or straight. Choose up, then you will be at a dead end and 3 magic tomes will come out and attack you, they are like the spell books but have more life. Once you have defeated them get the faerie scroll and you now can see the names of the enemies. Now go straight and you should meet the master Librarian. When you get to the Librarian you see a cut scene then walk to him and a menu will pop up and you will see a menu choose the sell gem and sell your 1 or 2 Zircons and go buy: Jewel of Open, Castle map and if you have enough money buy a saber & leather hat, I suggest you buy the saber first. Then equip those items then leave the Library. Then go back to the Marble Gallery and where you had the decision of four ways this time go to the top right one and you will have to go through the green door and jump on the platform and it will activate that violet platforms and you can go through. Now go back to the one that you passed to get here and you should get a Library Card & an attack potion. Then go back further in the Marble Gallery and another one should be there and you will be at a door and you should be in the underground caverns. If you are lost look at your map and look for where the map leads you down. ============================================================================== UNDERGROUND CAVERNS SUGGESTED LEVEL: 13 ITEMS: Library card, attack potion (found in the other red passage), Bandanna, Shiitake X4, Pot roast, crystal cloak, Scimitar, resist ice, toadstool, pentagram, merman statue ============================================================================== The underground caverns is pretty big. You will first see a spear guard pretty much the rest of this tower. Just keep going down until you get to where you see two rooms first the room on the right is a save, and then go to the room on the left. And find Archer and spear guards kill them and jump over the hole and go to the other room, to get a heart max up next break the wall to the left to get a Bandanna. Then go back and go down the hole, then keep going down the hole until you get to where you can see a room to the left. Go in and go up until you get a life max up. Then go down until you get to the bottom and then go back up and go the other way. When you have gotten back jump down and try to land on by the torch to get 400$. Then jump down and be in the middle and you will land on a platform. Then go to the room on the right and save. Then go down and go to the room on the right you should be facing the Scylla Wyrm. This guy is pretty simple. Then continue and you will have to be quick to get past the rising water. Then go to the right and break the vase to get a Pot roast then walk to the left and you will be fighting the Scylla. SCYLLA ______________________________________________________________________________ First if you have the holy water sub weapon you are going to win fast but if not you'll just have to take longer. In order to take damage out of the Scylla you have to hit where the female is. Now go back and go in an upward direction and then go through a door and you will be in the beginning (Again). ============================================================================== ALCHEMIST LABORATORY AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 15 ITEMS: NONE ============================================================================== Go back to where you fought Slogra & Gaibon except go to the room that was to the left of where Slogra & Gaibon's room was. ============================================================================== ROYAL CHAPEL SUGGESTED LEVEL: 15 ITEMS: Aquamarine, goggles, knight shield, strength potion, Silver plate, zircon, potion & cutlass ============================================================================== Once you get here go straight and you will be in a save point. Now jump up on the statue and jump up and go to the left and hit a vase to get an aquamarine. Then go upstairs and you will find a corner guard and Bone Pillar. When you find the one with a spike ball; just hit it and the ball should come down just move down then wait then jump straight up and it should miss you. Then you should be in a long room, press onto the next room which contains a spectral sword which has a million of small swords. Next go up to the left and then jump the platforms to get the goggles. Now go to the right and through the door to get a knight shield. Then go back and then up and you will be in one of the biggest rooms in this castle. The room on the right is where a confession is. You can sit in the chair by pressing up and one of the guys might try to hit you. Then go straight up and you will find some Skelerang too. When you get to where you have to jump on small platforms. You will have to jump all the way to the top then jump to the other side. Then when you get to a platform you will see a hunting girl. Next you will see a blue raven then jump on the two bells and you will find a life max up, Strength potion and a silver plate. Then go to the room on the right which is a hallway containing bats and a bone halberd. You will be in another room like the one before, do the same thing with the other one with items at the top. Then go down the hallway where the same two were last hallway. HIPPOGRYPH ______________________________________________________________________________ When you enter the room you will be fighting the Hippogryph, which my strategy is hit it a couple of times and dodge its attacks. The Hippogryph usually just flys around awhile then lands. That is when you can throw punches at it before it flys off again. If it starts to blow fire get close & duck and slash away. ______________________________________________________________________________ Then after Maria will talk to you. Then go down the hallway and go to the room straight ahead to a save. Then go up to find a potion & cutlass then go through the door to be in the castle keep. ============================================================================== CASTLE KEEP SUGGESTED LEVEL: 17 ITEMS: Tyrfing, leap stone, turquoise, turkey ============================================================================== Once you are through the doors it doesn't say "Castle keep" until you get to the other end. Then go down the hallway with 4 axe knights. Then jump on the far platform to get to the room on the right, to get a Tyrfing. Then go to the room on the left. And keep going left and you will find the leap stone next get the turquoise then hit the stone next to the turquoise to get a turkey that is hidden behind the turquoise. Then go back and go into the room where the moving platforms are. And there should be another teleporter, teleport to the scorpion teleport and save at the top of the tower. ============================================================================== RE - ENTER THE LONG LIBRARY SUGGESTED LEVEL: 17 ITEMS: Topaz circlet, holy rod, takemutsu, onyx, Frank further, ============================================================================== Once you have gottten to the Long Library, go all the way through and the point where you would go down the stairs that would lead you to the librarian you will double jump when you are halfway there and kill the corpseweed, then go in the room to find a save. Now that you have saved go through the door and into where several flea armors and Dhuron's are. Once through you will be in a big room where several flea armors are. go left and kill all the flea armors and make you way to the top right of the room. Once you are to the room hit the candle and you will get a stone mask, once you get that the bookshelves move, so keep walking by them and Alucard will move them. you will receive the holy rod and the topaz circlet. The Holy Rod is stronger than the Saber so equip it and the Holy Rod has a special ability that when you press down right/left then right/left it will have a bigger range and stronger attack (usually). Then exit the room and go down and you will fight the Lesser Demon. LESSER DEMON ______________________________________________________________________________ When you get to him all you need to do is just jump and attack him. But first I must tell you that you must wait until he summons a Mud man. Because you will never see the Mud man again. If you want to train a little bit you can hit the monsters he summons without hitting him. But if he gets offensive just kill him so you don't die. What I mean about the training thing is that you get decent experience from these monsters, so when the Lesser Demon summons them you kill them instead of hitting the Lesser Demon. The Lesser Demon does get more intense as the battle goes on so if that is the case just kill him so you don't have to repeat that last 10 minutes of your life. ______________________________________________________________________________ Then you will continue on and get the clock sub weapon then get the items takemutsu, onyx & Frankfurther. Go back because you can't go through the bars yet so go back to the outer wall. ============================================================================== OUTER WALL SUGGESTED LEVEL: 19 ITEMS: Garnet ============================================================================== When you go to the outer wall go back to the clock, but on your way go break the big vase by where you fought the Doppleganger10 to get a Garnet. ============================================================================== MARBLE GALLERY AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 19 ITEMS: Alucart equipment, heart & life max ============================================================================== Just go to the clock area. And when you get there use the watch and the statue on the right should open go in there to get Alucart shield, sword & mail and heart & life max up. Then you will have to wait for the other statue in order to go up. ============================================================================== OLROX'S QUARTERS SUGGESTED LEVEL: 19 ITEMS: Cheese, onyx, Broadsword ============================================================================== When you get to Orlox's Quarters go up and to the next room. Then you will see a poltergeist with loads of weapons orbiting the sword. Just go to the right and break the wall there. You will find cheese, onyx, Broadsword. Then go to the room at the top right of the last room. Then you will see a hammer & Blade you can jump over them or take longer to attack and press triangle to juke back. Then you will be by a door that leads to another teleporter. Then go to the room to the middle left part of the room to find yourself in the colosseum. ============================================================================== COLOSSEUM SUGGESTED LEVEL: 19 ITEMS: Library card, Shield rod, Green tea, form of mist, Blood cloak ============================================================================== You should now be in the colosseum, go straight and down and to the top left to find a save. Then go back up and to the left to find a save. Then go back up and to the left to find 2 blade Soldiers then go up. And you will find Blade Soldiers and Blade Masters then hit the top by the Pillar debris should fall hit it 3 times and a hole will be there. You can't go there yet. Then you should eventually have 2 choices, go right and get the Library card and go left. Then go activate the switch and hit the torch to get the Agunei Sub weapon, then go down to find a save. Then go to the room below and find a load of guys, block with your shield and hit the sword lord with your Agunei Sub weapon. The kill the others and watch out for the bone musket then you should get the Shield rod. This weapon has special abilities with Shields, press circle and square and something should happen with your status when you have a shield on. Then equip it instead of the holy rod. Then go to the save because you should have about 65 hp left so it would be good to save. Then go down to find a owl knight use your shield rod + Knight shield to get more defense, and then find your friend the plate lord, then to find another knight then go to the other room to find a grave keeper and green tea. Then go up and left to fight an armor lord, then go right to fight an axekngiht. This next room is a pain in the butt; it is really hard because you don't have enough: strength, attack speed & health so just go back to where the save is on the other side, but don't leave. Then go left and you will be at the end of the room where it was a pain. Then go down and go right and you will be where a bunch of sub weapons and a heart max up. Then go left to find bone Scimitar and Paranthropus. Then keep going left and you will get a blood cloak then go back to where the library card was and you will enter a boss battle. Use the Blood cloak to help you in the boss battle. MINOTAUR & WEREWOLF ______________________________________________________________________________ You will start off with Richter talking to you then the ox and werewolf will come. They use combinations with the both of them, so this is dodge and attack. The werewolf likes to jump around so dodge and attack. But don't attack too many times since the shield rod is very slow attacking. The Agunei is very useful in defeating the both of them. If you run out of hearts you can equip the blood cloak and get hit depending on the damage to get some more hearts to use the Agunei. ______________________________________________________________________________ Grab the life max up and enter the next room to activate the elevator and get the form of mist then now you can exit the colosseum and go to the library and where you needed to defeat the lesser demon. ============================================================================== ORLOX'S QUARTERS AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 20 ITEMS: NONE ============================================================================== Just go to the teleporter past the poltergeist and go to the scorpion to get to the outer wall. ============================================================================== OUTER WALL ONCE AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 20 ITEMS: NONE ============================================================================== Go to the long library. ============================================================================== LONG LIBRARY AGAIN SUGGESTED LEVEL: 20 ITEMS: Antivenom, Soul of Bat, potion, faerie card, Gravity boots, life apple, Hammer, potion, power of wolf, Bat card, skill of wolf ============================================================================== Go to where you defeated the lesser Demon. Then when you get there you will see a cage jump near then hit L1 to turn into the mist and it helps to press the right button on the D - Pad. Then you will get the Soul of Bat relic, so now you can turn into the bat with R1. Now go back and look at your map and go to the section where the black squares are and turn into the bat and go up with the bat, to find: Antivenom, potion & Faerie card. Now activate the Faerie card and the Faerie will help you with potions and status changing potions. Now go back to where you first meet Maria and use the bat to fly to the top. Then go to the right to get the Gravity Boots. Then go left to get: Life apple, hammer & potion. Next go back to the entrance, fast way is teleport or use the shortcut that is pretty close to you. When you get there you will see another owl knight, then use the gravity jump and bat and go to the top of the map to get a life max up and power of wolf. Now go to where you fought Slogra & Gaibon and get the map coverage there and get the Bat card. And on your way going up there you can now go up the area by where you got the leather shield. And you will see different sub weapons in glass cases and you will get the Skill of Wolf. Once you get there go back to where the clock is and go up there to where the teleporter is. ============================================================================== ORLOX'S QUARTERS AGAIN(2) SUGGESTED LEVEL: 20 ITEMS: Manna prism, resist fire, luck potion, estoc, Garnet, Sword Card, echo of bat, ============================================================================== When you get to Orlox's quarters go to the teleporter and go up the long way and you will find a manna prism; resist fire and a luck potion in vases, then just keep going up. you will be at the top so just go straight left and find quite a few of bloody zombies. Then you will be at the end with a estoc in the vase. Beware that the estoc is slow and will move Alucard forward a little bit. Then cover the grounds of this place but don't go in any of the rooms yet, there should be 4 rooms go in the bottom one on the right to be in a hallway to get a garnet. Then go to the room above and save. Next go in the room in the far bottom left and go all the way through the hallway. Then the third candle holder hit the top and it should break and you will get the sword card. Then go through the door and hit the small gold stature, and now you can go through. Then go back and go to the big room where thte Valhala Knights are and go to the very top left on the map. Then you will be in a long hallway get the iron ball and change into the bat and get past, then go through the door for a boss. ORLOX ______________________________________________________________________________ Once you get to Orlox he is a magicican so he will shoot fire balls, call skeletons and have a big explosion on 8/10th of the battlefield. So when you start out he will be sitting attack him, he will teleport for his movement. Then when 4 big explosions come, go to the end of the middle and dodge his blue fire balls, and use soul steal occasionally and you should win. Then his second form which you have to use your Agunei and have a shield so use the broadsword and knight shield. At first he will use fireballs and move around then he shoots and the attack shoots up so dodge that and hit occasionally and use Agunei you should win. The second form will take awhile all you have to do is use your shield when he uses his fire balls that are really fast. ______________________________________________________________________________ Then go to the room in the top left to get the echo of bat relic. Now you are done here so go save at the save and teleport to the outer wall. Then go up and the first door you see go through it. ============================================================================== CLOCK TOWER SUGGESTED LEVEL: 24 ITEMS: Shaman shield, ice mail, bekatou, pentagram, magic missile, TNT, Bwaka knife, shuriken ============================================================================== When you first get here go straight then turn into the bat and go up to get the fire of bat, now the bat can learn fireballs. Now explore this area and get all parts on the map. once you have explored you should have more equipment, then go through the bottom door. And you will find annoying medusa's flying everywhere so dodge them and go to the next room. Then you will see gears, attack them until they click then hit the other two on the other side then go to the room at the bottom and get Gold plate, star flail and steel helm. Then go up and the faerie should say the wall to the right is |
