Introduction ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =============================================================================== I'm writing this FAQ due to my love for the Ninjabee games. Actually, aside from Clyde, this is only my second game by them. After writing for Outpost Kaloki X (Another excellent game, check it out if you have more marketplace points) it made me want to write for Clyde, simply due to the wacky and comical nature of their games. Luckily for me Clyde does not disappoint. Now as for the FAQ, I'd like to mention that I'm writing as I go along, so if some information is inaccurate past a certain point, I will fix it once I realize the mistake. If you notice any mistakes I haven’t fixed, then please feel free to email me, the address is at the bottom of the FAQ in the Copyright section. The guide is still incomplete, which means along with most of the levels not being covered, some of the basic information is missing, such as a complete list of all Clydes and their abilities, co-op mode, Frequently Asked Questions, and even achievements. =============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Game Basics ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =============================================================================== ================================ 4.1 Fighting ================================ Fighting is very simplified, just tap X. You'll use your elite kung-fu skills to destroy whatever stands in your way. When you've collected enough DNA strands, you'll be able to perform a super attack by pressing the right bumper. You'll only be able to use it once per charge. There is also a move you can use while you are airborne. I'm not quite sure what it is exactly, but it looks like a belly flop, something you'd see in modern professional wrestling. Our loveable Clyde is a man of many skills. Just jump in the air, and then press X on your way down. This can also be done as you fall off a ledge or jump off of a ladder. This move appears to be a little slower than a regular attack, but it has many perks. It makes you invulnerable to attacks from Angry Mutated Chickens, does more damage, and can hit both Chickens and the Security Cameras at the same time. Certain Clydes have other attacks aside from the kicking, such as Frog-Clyde, who, when underwater, can do a diving attack as long as he is swimming and not standing on the floor. Explosive-Clyde can tap B to set off a small charge that will damage enemies. Frog-Clyde also looks like his attack consists of head-butting enemies. ================================ 4.2. Enemies ================================ In your quest to escape your temporary prison, you'll be confronted by a few types of enemies and several hazards. ================== Security Cameras ================== These Cameras cause no actual damage (I believe) but they are usually surrounded by pipes that will drop angry chickens at you. It is necessary to kill all of the Security Cameras in a level before you can proceed. ======================== Angry Mutated Chickens ======================== These tiny red chickens will drop near the Security Cameras, they'll explode causing minor damage and only take one hit to kill. These chickens will not stop coming until the Security Camera is destroyed. ============================= Blue Angry Mutated Chickens ============================= I *believe* these are the same as the Angry Mutated Chickens, but they are bigger in size and damage. They take two hits to kill and cause more damage. They will not stop coming until the Security Camera is destroyed, and are found in the later levels. ===================== Clyde-Eating Plants ===================== These plants basically resemble Venus Fly Traps, as Clyde goes by, these plants will try to eat him. They can sometimes be avoided by jumping, but the plants are usually found in groups, so avoiding one might just lead you straight into another. If you're an Explosive-Clyde you can press B to blow yourself out, otherwise you have to rapidly tab B to escape. ============== Mines ============== These explosives come in three different varieties, the ground mines that will not disappear even after being stepped on, the floating mines that will disappear after being struck by something like a chicken or rock, and the indestructible floating mines that just have to be avoided as they cannot be destroyed. ============== Smashers ============== These machines will basically do what their name suggests, smash you into the ground. They cannot be destroyed, but they can sometimes be turned off with certain levers in game. The best way to get past this obstacle is to stand close to it, wait until it strikes the ground, run up against it, and when it lifts up far enough you'll dart right under it. ================================ 4.3 Health ================================ At first you wont notice a health bar anywhere on the screen, the health bar will only show up when you get hurt, or if your health is low. To restore some of your health, you can pickup health kits that are placed in some areas of the map. The FAQ will try to point them out as you go along in case you need them. If your health reaches zero, you will die. You have an unlimited amount of lives, but you will have to restart a part of the level and retrace your steps. ================================ 4.4 Clyde Notes ================================ Clyde Notes are just that, notes from Clyde to... uh... Clyde. One of his clones has left numerous notes for Clyde throughout the level, to read these notes, walk in front of one and press Up on the left thumb stick. You'll see a message pop up asking you to do this whenever you pass by one. These notes offer helpful tips and really make you feel like a special guy, so its in your best interest to read them whenever you pass by them. ================================ 4.5 Items & Objects ================================ Pickups are what will help you throughout your game. You can pickup a variety of things, from health kits to action figures. ============= Health Kits ============= Health Kits are floating red +'s, usually placed in groups. They will restore a portion of your health. If your health is full, the pickup will be picked up anyways, and you will not gain any bonus. ============= DNA Strands ============= DNA Strands look like... well, DNA. Picking these up will charge up your Super Attack which you can use against enemies. You can only have a maximum of 3 Super Attacks at a time. When you gain enough DNA for a Super Attack it will show the strand in the upper left corner. DNA strands stay with you even after you've completed the level. ============================ Killer Kenn Action Figures ============================ Killer Kenn Action Figures are placed throughout the level for you to pickup, they serve no real purpose, but collecting them will earn you achievements. ================================ 4.6 Actions ================================ Throughout the game you'll come across levers, buttons, and other objects you can interact with to aid you in your escape. You can use them by pressing the B button while standing in front of them. =================== Buttons & Pistons =================== Buttons and Pistons operate together. When a button is held down by a rock, chicken, Clyde, etc. the piston will start working. Usually a few pistons have to be running before the desired action occurs, such as opening a gate. When the action does occur, you can move the objects off the button safely. They may also control electrified barriers and operate without pistons. ============ Catapults ============ Catapults can either be automatic or manual. Automatic catapults will trigger every few seconds regardless of whether or not an object is on the loader. The manual ones require a Clyde to pull a lever to trigger it. ========== Chickens ========== These flapping little birds serve multiple purposes. You can use them to hold down buttons, they will stay in place, and they are lighter than rocks, so you can throw them farther. You can also toss them up into the air and use it to clear mines out of the way. Otherwise you can just kick them. That’s fun too. ================= Cloning Machine ================= The Cloning Machines will let you clone a Clyde, they have limited power so can usually only clone a Clyde 3-6 times depending on the level. They will clone the current version of Clyde, so even if Clyde is mutated, a mutated Clyde will appear. =============== Clyde Escapes =============== Clyde Escapes basically resemble a ventilation shaft, they have yellow borders and are covered by a gray vent, when you've beaten the Security Cameras the vent will disappear and you can send them out. If you need to bring a Clyde back in, just press Y while highlighting the vent. ======================= DNA-Combining Machine ======================= These are the machines that allow Clyde to mutate into his various forms. You'll need an animal or explosive barrel on one platform and a Clyde on the other. =========== Lifts =========== Lifts are basically moving platforms, they can go up or down, left or right, or follow their own circular path. They will either operate automatically or will need to be activated by placing a rock on a button somewhere in the level. =================== Rockets & Torches =================== Rockets have two uses, either blasting away rock walls that lie in its path, or transporting Clyde. The rockets do not hurt Clyde if he gets struck in the front with them, but if he’s standing behind one as it goes off, he will take damage. To light a rocket stand under a torch or jump under it to light your hair on fire, then stand behind the rocket to set it off. There is only one instance when the rockets are set off by a lever instead of an ignited Clyde. =========== Rocks =========== Basically a boulder, it is heavy and Clyde cannot throw it very far. It can be used to hold down a button or clog a drain. They can also be used to distract Clyde-Eating Plants. =========== Scales =========== Scales require objects (almost always Clydes) to weigh them down. Putting a sufficient number of Clydes (usually 3) will open gates or other obstacles. =========== Sheep =========== Sheep can also be used to clear out mines, but their main purpose is their jumping ability. Riding the sheep will let you jump farther and higher. You wont be able to control the jumps which will happen automatically, but you can control the direction and power. ================================ 4.7 Clydes ================================ The following are the Clyde mutations that can be used throughout the game. ============================================================================= | Mutation Ability | ============================================================================= Chicken-Clyde Flight Sheep-Clyde Speed / Jump Frog-Clyde Swim / Jump / Speed (hopping) Explosive-Clyde Explosive / Extra Damage / Swim* / No Damage from Clyde-Eating Plants Ape-Clyde Hanging Rock-Clyde Weight / Ugliness Mutant-Clyde All of the Above * - Explosive-Clyde cannot actually swim, he'll sink to the bottom, but he does not require surfacing for air. ================================ 4.8 Scoring ================================ =============== Single Player =============== In single player, you'll receive 1000 points for every Killer Kenn Action Figure you collect, and 500 points for every Clyde you help escape. You'll also receive a 1000 point bonus for every second you are under the par time. The difficulty does not affect scoring in any way. ============== Ranked Games ============== In ranked games scoring is as follows: * 1 Point for successfully attacking an opponent (contact must be made). * 5 Points for "killing" an opponent Clyde. * 20 Points for delivering the final blow to an opponents Security Camera. * -1 Point for being hit. * -5 Points for being "killed". Scores from ranked games are NOT combined to form leaderboard times. =============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. Walkthrough ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =============================================================================== There are 24 levels total in the main mission, plus one final mission, Clyde Kong. I'd advise everyone that’s interested in getting better places on the leaderboards to do an initial run through grabbing all the Killer Kenn Action Figures and letting all the Clydes escape, then redoing the mission again as Mutant Clyde to greatly improve their times. ========================================== 5.0 Training ========================================== Par Time: None You'll be treated to a little back story to Clydes predicament in the opening comic strip, then you'll be tossed into the evil lab to fight your way out. The first level is rather straightforward, and throughout the level you'll come across the readable signs. Always take the time to check them out, as they will probably provide a valuable clue, or a little self esteem boost. So when you start the level, head towards the left side to run into the first security monitor. These guys are your enemies you have to defeat in order to progress through the game. So just tap X when you get near it, as well as take out the angry mutated chickens (the red guys that come down from the tub)e. Run across the bridge, past the ladder, to take out the second security monitor. Now head down the ladder, here you can choose to kick some chickens if you so wish. Doesn’t affect gameplay in the slightest, but its still rather enjoyable. Now head up to the next platform, and collect all the DNA strands, then you can go test out your super attack on the third set of security cameras just to your right. Keep heading up, collecting the next set of DNA strands and then getting on the trampoline. Jump on it to clear the wall. Here is where you will encounter your first action, so press B to pull the lever to open the gate in front of you. Now you'll encounter a water hazard of sorts, so simply fall into the water, and down into the train. You'll pop out on the platform up top, next to a rock. Pick up the rock pressing the B button, and toss it into the water to plug the drain. Swim across and collect more DNA strands near the toilets. Here is where you will have to deal with another mini puzzle. The platform will only operate if something is pushing down the red button, now you cant stand on it and ride the platform up just yet, so pull the lever to the left to make a rock drop down, and put the rock on the button. You can either try to throw it, or just pick it up and drop it or jump up with it while standing on the red button. Once the rock is in place, ride the platform up to the next level. Here you will receive the first health pickups in the game, so collect them if you need them. Climb up the ladder and head to your left to pick up the first Killer Kenn doll.... er, "action figure" in the game. You'll see a second one just above the first, so climb the ladder and grab that too. Jump up to the platform on the left to get the third Killer Kenn, and climb up on the desks and head to the left to collect the final one. Now drop down all the way to the bottom, and head to the left to reach the first pistons in the game. Head past them to the cloning machine, and clone yourself twice. Position one Clyde each on the two buttons, and with the third, head up the ladder to destroy the final Security Camera on the left side. Take the Clyde you are currently controlling and head back to the right, where you will notice the Clyde Escape is now open. So take your Clyde into the exit, then take control of one of the Clydes on the buttons. Take him into the exit too, then with the final Clyde, take him all the way to the left side and teleport him out of the level. Current Statistics Killer Kenns: 4/4 Escaped: 2/2 Killer Kenns Total: 4/156 Escaped Total: 2/75 ========================================== 5.1 Get Away ========================================== Par Time: 01:30:00 To get Par Time you cant afford to waste time trying to destroy the Security Cameras, so make sure you collect all the DNA along the way as I list them so you can just unleash a Super Attack and carry on. Head to the right until you reach the ladder, and climb up, picking up the DNA strands at the bottom, and the health pickup on the right side of the ladder. On the cage in the upper left you'll see a Killer Kenn and more DNA, pick those up as well. Then head over to the right side to see another ladder going down, pick up the DNA on the path, and jump to the upper right beside the ladder to pick up the two strands there. At the bottom of the ladder, head past the Clyde Escape to meet up with the first set of Cameras and Angry Mutated Chickens, but collect the DNA strands above the Clyde Escape. Destroy these and keep heading to the right. Jump up to get the Killer Kenn on the right side of the lever. Pull the lever twice to drop two Clydes on the other side of the wall. Switch to any of those Clydes, and head to the right to destroy the second set of cameras. Climb up the ladder, collecting all of the DNA and the Killer Kenn at the top. Head past all the statues to get to the ladder on the left side, and climb up it. On top of the cage, and along the bottom are DNA strands and the final Killer Kenn figure, so collect those, then head to the platform leading off to the left. Continue down this way, collecting the DNA to meet up with the third set of Cameras. At the bottom of this drop is the final set of Cameras, there are DNA strands floating in the middle of the gap, so collect those on your way down, and use your Super Attack to finish the last guy off easily. Now head back to the original Clyde you started with. Just scroll down and to the right. Backtrack with this Clyde to the Clyde Escape just to your left, and let him escape. Now switch to the next closest Clyde, any of the seven you left standing on the other side of the wall. The escape is just off to their right, so let them all escape, then head back to the top left to the final Clyde, and use the teleporter. Current Statistics Killer Kenns: 4/4 Escaped: 8/8 Killer Kenns Total: 8/156 Escaped Total: 10/75 ========================================== 5.2 Jump, Sheep, Jump ========================================== Par Time: 03:15 Immediately head to the right to collect the DNA strands, then head over to the left to fight the first set of Cameras. Pull the lever to raise the gate and drop a sheep. Now instead of picking up or throwing the sheep, you can actually ride it. Don’t ride it just yet though, head to the left and pick up a chicken, and pushing the thumbstick up while pressing B will toss the chicken up in the air, clearing a path for you and your sheep to jump. Just clear a few mines on the left side so you can head up. So press the X button to ride the sheep. Now you wont be able to control the sheep, but its jumping ability is very useful. So get on the sheep and head to the left ledge, and tap A to make it do a super jump up onto the platform. Pick up the DNA strands, then super jump over to the platform on the right. Super jumping to the left again will get you a lot of DNA and even a Killer Kenn, so take the time to do that if you wish. While you're on this platform, jump over to the one on the right, not the one that you jumped here from, but the higher one. You cant reach that height while on the platform, but if you're on the one on the left, you can get the height and distance easily if you jump close to the edge. Now drop off the platform and collect the DNA while on the sheep, then jump off and head to the right to fight a second set of Cameras. Defeating them will drop more Clydes off from a crate. Ignore them for now, and head up the ladder and the series of platforms until you can jump to another ladder. Keep heading up, collecting everything on the way including the second Killer Kenn action figure, until you reach the top, where the third set of Cameras will be waiting. Now head back down to the rest of the Clydes. Here you will get to use the catapult. The catapult will fling you up to the next platform, where the final set of Cameras is waiting. So once you've flung your first Clyde, switch to him and destroy the Cameras. Once you've got that done, fling two more Clydes up there. If possible, throw a sheep on the catapult so you can fling that with you, and get to another platform. Once you've got 3 Clydes up there, put them on the scale, and the catapult will start flinging, so take one of those three, and let them get flung. They'll be sent somewhere with DNA strands and the third Killer Kenn. You can drop this Clyde back down to the original catapult, and use one of the other two to ride the sheep to the platform on the top right to collect the last Killer Kenn. Once this is done, take three of the Clones back to the left where the crate was, and climb the ladder to reach the Clyde Escape. Let 3 escape, and use the fourth to teleport out. Current Statistics Killer Kenns: 4/4 Escaped: 3/3 Killer Kenns Total: 12/156 Escaped Total: 13/75 ========================================== 5.3 Polar Pleasure ========================================== Par Time: 4:00 Here you will make your first Sheep-Clyde! Unlocking a nice little achievement for you, so pull the lever to drop a sheep on the right platform, then climb on the left one and press B. You'll now have increased speed and I believe, jumping power. Pull the lever on the right side of the contraption twice to release rocks, pick up one and throw it on the platform above where the red button is. Then jump on the platform yourself and put the rock on the button so you can operate the lifts. Then go back and take the second rock and toss it into the water on the right to plug the drain. Head back to where the button was, and make your way up the lifts grabbing all the goodies along the side. There are three lifts, so keep heading up to collect the first Killer Kenn action figure. Head back down, and jump off the edge to dive into the little lake, and grab the Killer Kenn in the corner. If your Clyde starts fighting his way back up, let him go all the way to the top for air, then bring him back down. Don’t try to force him to grab the figure or you'll die. Once you're down there, you will be trapped, so just pick up the rock to get sucked up and be brought to your first set of Cameras... actually there are three sets. You can either fight them all right away, or go up the tall ladder to get the DNA sitting up there. Either way, use your super attacks to take out what you can, and remember to fight from the left, that way if an Angry Mutated Chicken tries to attack you, you can kick them out of the way. Now head to the right, past the gate that just opened up. Press B on the bottom lever to open the gate leading down. Don’t head down just yet. Go all the way up to get to the Cloning Machine, and clone yourself 8 times. Put 4 of these clones on the buttons just below the cloning machine, and take a 5th one past the gate that just opened up on the left side. Up the ladder is your third Killer Kenn. Now take 4 of the 5 remaining Clydes and put them on the buttons in this new area, and take the 5th one past them, up the huge ladder, all the way to the top to get a bunch of DNA and a Killer Kenn doll. Now fall off the right side of this ledge. Keep heading down back to where you opened the gate leading down. Here there will be the final Cameras, so defeat them to open up the Clyde escapes. Don’t finish the level just yet, head over to the left side of this bottom area, and go through the door to reach the 5th Killer Kenn of the level, fall back down, but don’t fall off the ladder, go past the Clyde Escape on the right, and get the health, DNA and Killer Kenn items. Now you can start evacuating Clydes and finishing the level. Current Statistics Killer Kenns: 6/6 Escaped: 8/8 Killer Kenns Total: 18/156 Escaped Total: 12/75 ========================================== 5.4 Ribbit Me This ========================================== Par Time: 2:45 Head to the left to find a DN-Combining Machine, so pull the lever on the right side of it to drop a frog, then go and stand on the left side of the machine and press B to become Frog-Clyde. Now you can swim without worrying about running out of air. So jump into the water on the left, and dive all the way down, where a Security Camera will be waiting for you. Once you defeat the camera, you will be sucked into the drain and emptied out onto dry land. You can test out your new super hopping ability now if you wish. Head to the left and start climbing up the platforms, you'll reach a second security camera, so destroy that, and from that platform, jump to the left to the gray platform, and then one more time to the left, you'll get more DNA strands and a Killer Kenn. Now jump all the way to the right, staying on the top tier of platforms, and you'll get more DNA and another Killer Kenn. Drop back down to the bottom. On the right side of the map you'll see a little pond with three drains, if you fall into the water, you'll be sucked down them and be brought back up to the edge. So double jump over the pond, and repeat this three more times until you come to a ladder. Climb the ladder and read the sign, apparently those things on the ground are explosive, so jump over them. Pull the lever and climb the ladder and get the health pickup. Over on the right you'll see the Cloning Machine, so clone yourself three times. Put one of the clones on the catapult, and have another one pull the lever to fling the Clyde up to the next area. Here will be even more DNA and another Killer Kenn. Using this same Clyde, go back to the right and climb the ladder leading up. Head over to the right to see some chicken sucking action up above. Head up, and pick up the rock on the skinny ledge and toss it into the water to clog the pipe. Now head across and climb the ladder up to the third Security Camera. Once you've destroyed that one, climb the ladder above to get a health pickup and the final Killer Kenn for this level. You can now go back and destroy the fourth Security Camera that is just to the left of the third. Before you escape remember to evacuate the Clones using the escape just to their left back down at the catapult. Beating this level (with or without par time) will also get you a nifty gamer picture. Current Statistics Killer Kenns: 4/4 Escaped: 3/3 Killer Kenns Total: 22/156 Escaped Total: 24/75 ========================================== 5.5 Holy Dynamoly ========================================== Par Time: 6:00 In case you're wondering where the next teleporter is, you need to head back down the ladder and out the door. Then you can go to the door on the left of the one you just came out to reach the next set of levels. Right away you'll have to fight a Security Camera, and defeating it will open up the doorway to let you progress. Head to the door to be brought down to the next area, where you will see the DNA-Combining Machine, pull the lever to drop an explosive barrel. Now you'll have to hurry, because the barrel will explode if you take too long. Now you'll be an Explosive Clyde! Pressing B will let you set off a small blast, while X will just be your normal attack. Now get on the Cloning Machine to make 3 more explosive Clydes. There is also a single strand of DNA up near the top left of the machine. Now head to the left to see a ring of explosive barrels, stand where the sign is and blow yourself up using B. It'll set off the other barrels and open the door to the next area. Get the health pickup and Killer Kenn that are floating about, and then pull the lever and go through the door. Head down the ladder and clone yourself 5 times. On the right you'll see a red button blocked off by a gray stone wall, explode next to it and it will clear a path. Have a Clyde stand on the button, and then climb back up the ladder. Now using those Clydes, put them all on a button. Clear out the gray walls and you'll see a button on the top, down the ladder (where a Killer Kenn is located), one more near the top and one more down the ladder. Using the final Clyde, stay at the top and head to the right, where another Cloning Machine is located. Clone yourself 5 more times. Head down the ladder to the left of the machine, and you'll see 4 regular Clydes and a Security Camera, destroy it quickly, because the Clydes will soon be under attack. You will need to switch Clydes for this, and once you've done that, jump on the trampoline to get the DNA and clear the wall. You'll have to time your jumps on the trampoline below to clear the wall and miss the mine, so jump carefully. When you've got to the ladder, climb up it and head to the right where you can combine yourself into an Explosive Clyde again. You can just stand near the Camera and keep tapping B to destroy it quickly, or use a Super Attack if you have one. Once that’s done, three more Explosive Clydes will drop down from the crate. Put three of the Clydes on the scale below to open the walls. Use your explosion to break the wall on the right side, and fight your way to the Killer Kenn in the corner. Then do the same on the left, except this time you'll be fighting the last Security Camera. Once that’s done, start evacuating Clydes. Do not evacuate the Clyde you were just using yet. You'll have 3 sitting on the scales to your right, 3 normal Clydes to your upper left, which will need to be evacuated using the same escape you just used for the first 3 Clydes. 10 Explosive ones sitting on the buttons further to your left, which can use the escape in the top middle, and 3 more Explosive ones just below those 10, which you can send out through the escape to the left of the scales. You can use the final Explosive Clyde to use the teleporter out. Current Statistics Killer Kenns: 3/3 Escaped: 20/20 Killer Kenns Total: 25/156 Escaped Total: 44/75 ========================================== 5.6 Prairie Chicken ========================================== Par Time: 5:00 Head to the left and pick up a chicken, toss it on the DNA-Combining Machine and mutate yourself into a Chicken-Clyde to unlock a gamer pic and the Poultry Party achievement plus a new cheat. As a Chicken-Clyde, you will now be able to fly around by tapping A. So head to the left and fly up into the upper left corner to pickup a Killer Kenn action figure. Then head over to the platform leading to the right, destroy the Security Camera on the right side, to open the wall, and then keep heading to the right where you can pull another lever to open the wall and get to a Killer Kenn and some DNA. Then you can head back to the left, this time go up to reach the next Security Camera, destroy that to drop 3 Chicken-Clydes from the crate. Put one on the red button, and then use another one to fly up into the next area, collect the DNA in the upper left corner. Put the Clyde on the second red button, then switch again. Head the same way past the previous Clyde, avoiding the mine that travels in a square path. Drop down to the right and stand on the third button. With the final Clyde, head back the same way and this time keep going up, you'll see another red button, but you wont have anyone to put on it, so head towards the left at the top and destroy the next Security Camera to drop 3 more Chicken-Clydes. Put one on the button. Take a Clyde and head to the left, and go up. Be careful of the Smasher, you'll have to run under it without being hit. Pull the lever to stop the one on the left, and grab the health pickup if you need it. Keep going and pull the levers to stop the Smashers. Put your Clyde on the next button and switch, take the Clyde past the previous one, and put him on the button just to the upper right of the Clyde Escape. Fly all the way up to get the DNA strands and the third Killer Kenn, then go clone yourself 3 times. Put 3 of those clones on the buttons to your right, then take the fourth one down to the newly opened path to the left of the Clyde Escape. Head up and pull the lever to blow the barrel and open the path. Collect the DNA and the Killer Kenn, then pull the second lever. Now head down and to the left, then up to face the final Security Camera. Once that’s done, you can start evacuating Clydes. Starting on the left, you'll have one Clyde right beside an escape, heading up from there, another Clyde which will have to drop off the ledge to reach his escape, a third Clyde which will have to head past the explosive to reach the escape the second went into. Above that, a Clyde standing on the button who can use the escape to his left, above him twos Clyde who can use the escape on the upper left. Then the three final Clydes who were standing on the top buttons, they can just drop down and use the same escape. Current Statistics Killer Kenns: 4/4 Escaped: 9/9 Killer Kenns Total: 29/156 Escaped Total: 53/75 ========================================== 5.7 Dances With Igloos ========================================== Par Time: 4:30 Start off by pulling the lever to your left to drop an explosive barrel. Now you need to do this quickly before it explodes and hurts you, so toss one down the ladder to break the wall, then toss another across the gap, making sure it lands on the ledge. Jump to the left and climb the ladders, when you get to the top you'll see a lever to your left. There is a Security Camera down below, and 2 pipes where you are. You can pull the lever to drop an explosive barrel, then pick it up and toss it, but once the first one hits, the Angry Mutated Chickens will start popping up, so quickly toss another one to finish it off. Do not drop down to where the Camera was, the bottom is lined with mines. So instead, jump across to pick up a Killer Kenn and the DNA in the upper left. Head through the door to wind up at the starting point. This time you can head down the ladder. Pull the lever at the bottom to drop a rock and an explosive barrel. Toss the barrel to the right to break the wall, then toss the rock on the stone wall that’s covering up the gap. Pull the lever again to drop another set. This time the barrel will blow up the second rock that dropped and the wall that was covering the gap, so the first rock will drop straight onto the button. Now you're in the same situation you were earlier. A Security Camera that’s on a lower level, and a pipe dropping Angry Mutated Chickens on your level. If you're going for the speedy approach it might be faster to just destroy the Camera, but if you want you can just toss explosive barrels. If you run back to the lever, the Angry Mutated Chickens wont drop. Either way, once its gone, jump to the right (don’t go down, there are more mines along the bottom) and grab the pickups, including a second Killer Kenn. Jump back across and this time head to the left, picking up the DNA that is in the little pit with the red button. Pull the lever here to once again drop a rock and a barrel. Use the barrel to blow the stone and the rock to hold down the button. Pick up some more DNA in the pit. Do the same thing again on the next pit. Now pull the lever to drop 3 more Clydes from the crate. Climb the ladder, a Security Camera will be behind a stone wall. Now the second you're in range, Angry Mutated Chickens will start dropping. If you get close enough they'll explode and take the wall down for you. So once that’s done, go in and destroy the Camera. You can also wait to destroy it if you wish. There is a faster way you can use that will be explained shortly. Now head up and go to the right. Read the sign, it says if you set your head on fire by getting your head into the torch, then standing on a fuse, you can light the rockets. Your health wont go down even though it hurts. If you keep lighting the rocket on the right, it will actually destroy the fourth Security Camera for you. If you chose to wait to destroy the previous Camera, then you can also light the rocket on the left repeatedly to break the wall and destroy that camera also. Either way, when its done, climb the ladder to get the third Killer Kenn and some health. Now you have to jump over the mines underneath the destroyed Camera. Here will be more health and more DNA. Now start evacuating the Clydes. The 3 Clydes that dropped out of the crate will need to be taken up the ladder and to the right, past the destroyed camera into the escape. Once that’s done, take the fourth Clyde and use the teleporter. Current Statistics Killer Kenns: 4/4 Escaped: 3/3 Killer Kenns Total: 33/156 Escaped Total: 56/75 ========================================== 5.8 Rocket Clyde ========================================== Par Time: 2:45 Head to the left to pickup the DNA sitting in the bottom corner, then read the sign to your right. Pull the lever just to the right of the sign to drop an ape. Use the DNA-Combining Machine to become Ape-Clyde and unlock a new cheat and achievement. As far as I can tell, Ape-Clydes only power is to hang. So jump above the water and hang on to the ground above. Now go down and you'll see a bunch of rockets shooting, you need to get hit by them to get to where you want to go. First, get hit by the bottom ones, they'll take you to collect DNA and a Killer Kenn, although I'm not sure which rocket gave me the Ken. You'll land in water and respawn at the top, plus it doesn’t take away health, so have fun if you want. When you're done with that, get hit by the first rocket. If you got hit by the third rocket and didn’t land in the water, don’t worry about it. You're where you want to go anyways, but if you need the Kenn, you can jump back in the water to your right. Anyways, destroy the Security Camera sitting in the middle, and then go to the left when the gate opens. Pull the lever on the left side to drop a sheep, and ride it up to the next platform and past the mines. You will probably get hit, but just land on the other side and pull the blue lever, this opens the doors so you don’t have to worry about the mines anymore. Grab the Killer Kenn in the corner (he might be a little hard to see because of the tree), and climb the ladder for some DNA. Then use the door to go back out to the other side. Now use the sheep to jump to the platform above on the right. Hit the red button to open the gate, then use the sheep to get hit by the rocket above. You'll collect a nice bit of DNA, then its time to swim again. Underwater there will be another Security Camera, now when you destroy it, you'll be sucked down the drain and land right next to yet another Security Camera. Destroying that one will open the crate and drop some Ape-Clydes. Now, take a Clyde across the water by hanging above, and you'll reach the final Security Camera. Destroy that and climb the ladder and pick up the Killer Kenn in the corner. Evacuate this Clyde, and then 2 more. Then you can use the final one to teleport out of here. Current Statistics Killer Kenns: 4/4 Escaped: 3/3 Killer Kenns Total: 37/156 Escaped Total: 59/75 ========================================== 5.9 The Electric Clyde ========================================== Par Time: 4:45 Head to the right and pull the lever, the gate will open up. Head down and get sucked into the drain, then let the rocket hit you. When you land head to the left and stand on the red button to release 4 Clydes. Toss 4 on the scale to the right of the button. Then pull the lever to open the gate on the far left, giving you access to a Killer Kenn. Head back to the right and climb up the ladders, when you get to the top of the second one head to the left to get a Killer Kenn. Now drop down on the left side and go back to meet up with your other clones. Now you need to switch to the Clone located beneath the scales. Pull the lever beside this clone 4 times to drop 4 more Clydes. Position the Clydes on the buttons to open the gate. Now go pull the lever in between the red buttons, an explosive barrel will drop down. Throw it against the stone wall on the right and let it explode, try not to hurt your Clydes. You can pull the lever here 4 more times to drop even more clones. Now climb up the ladder and defeat the Security Camera, and the drain on the left side will be activated. Drop into here to be given the second Killer Kenn. Now you'll be at the bottom of the ladder, take 2 clones and put them on the 2 red buttons down here. Then switch back to the top where the rest of the clones are, and take 2 more, but this time take them down the ladder on the left side to the 2 remaining buttons. Take a Clyde to the ladder on the left, past the now deactivated Zappers and pull the lever. You can now head further down. Head down and you'll have to fight a second set of Cameras. Head to the right to fight another one, and collect the final Killer Kenn for the level. Head back to the left and down again to fight the final set of Cameras and open the teleporter. Then you can start evacuating Clydes. At the top starting at the scales, you can send 5 out through the escape to your right. Then the 9 below those will have to be sent out through the escape at the very bottom. Current Statistics Killer Kenns: 4/4 Escaped: 14/14 Killer Kenns Total: 41/156 Escaped Total: 73/75 ========================================== 5.10 Shady Acres ========================================== Par Time: 3:15 Start off by dropping to the right and pulling the lever to release an explosive barrel on the DNA-Combining Machine, hurry down and get combining. Drop down and head to the right, head past the lever and read the sign. Some of the plants in the area have a taste for Clydes. As long as you're an explosive Clyde you can get out, just let one of the Clyde-Eating Plants eat you, and press B to explode. Now drop into the water to your right, you wont be able to swim as an Explosive-Clyde, so just drop into the water, blowing up any plants that swallow you, then run to the Security Camera and just tab B to quickly blow it up. The drain will be activated and you'll be sucked back out onto dry land. Now head into the water on the left, the way this will work is, you will get sucked into the drain, get shot up in the air next to a stone wall, while you are up there, press B to blow the stone wall away, then fall back into the water and shoot into the next pool. Keep doing this until you reach the top. Destroy the Security Camera and the Clyde-Eating Plants, and head to the right. Blow up the stone walls as you fall down to get a Killer Kenn. Head up using the moving platform, and then destroy the third Camera. Head through the door on the left. You'll be back at the start, now head back to where the water was shooting you through pipes. For the first few times you'll be shot towards the left, at the point where it shoots you to the right, try to land on the little ledge. Then you can jump to the area to the left of you with the warning sign. Blow the stone wall on the left to drop a rock on the button and get the lift moving. Blow the wall at the top to pick up the final Killer Kenn. Now head back down to where you dropped off all the Clydes by going through the door at the top of the water shooting stuff. Drop down the ladder to the right and destroy the Camera to complete the level. You can evacuate your Clydes using the shaft right beside them. Then use the final Clyde to finish the level.
