Dragon Age: Origins Review :

A Game Worthy of Its Title

by arbynthechief Mar 07, 2011

You start off the game creating your character however you like. You can chose from Humans, Elves, or Dwarves. Each of these characters starts out in one of the 6 origin stories. Once completed, you will be recruited to the mystical Grey Warden Order. From there on you will be involved in situations that will change Ferelden for ever.... You have the ability to alter the story anyway you like by the choices you make. You will assemble a party of loyal followers and carve your own destiny. To explore all possible choices, you will have to play multiple times. This is what makes it so interesting. You have the ability to explore many vast areas and recruit many people to your cause, unlike some games where you are limited to one area. That's the beauty of it. However, I won't reveal how the story flows, because that is up to you

10Story line
I found the story-line to be mind-blowing. You could basically walk through all corners of Ferelden. It had a long and satisfying storyline with various optional side quests.
Graphics were great. I didn't have any problems with glitches at all. Overall, I was happy with them.
I was impressed with the voice acting, which was marvelous, but a better sound-track would've been nice. And I would of liked to see the character fully-voiced.
I was very satisfied with gameplay. No glitches for the most part, and I was okay with the tap and go system. I hope the next game will include a fully controllable character.
10Lasting Appeal
I don't know about you, but I've still been playing this game since it came out a few years ago. There are endless possibilities and different things to explore across multiple playthroughs.
(Out of 10)
