Halo 3 Cheats

The following cheats can be performed during a local match or replay only. You must simultaneously PRESS & HOLD the following buttons for 3 SECONDS to toggle the effect on / off.

KEYS:
LB = Left Bumper
RB = Right Bumper
LS = Click in on Left Analog Stick
RS = Click in on Right Alalog Stick

Cheat Effect
LB + RB + LS + A + DOWN [D-PAD] Toggle Hide Weapon
LB + RB + LS + A + UP [D-PAD] Toggle Show Coordinates / Camera Mode
[HOLD LS + RS] Press Left on D-Pad Toggle Pan-Cam / Normal while Show Corrdinates is enabled.

-Grunt Birthday Party skull
Effect: Headshots cause enemies to explode.

Where to find: Crow's Nest

How to find: Right after the first objective, while en route to the barracks, you will fall down onto a pipe. At the end of this pipe, look over the edge to see a small space a few feet below you. You must simply drop over and as quicly as you can, pull back to land under the floor you were just on. After that, the skull will be at the end.

-Black-Eye Skull
Effect: Melee hits instantly recharges your shield.

Where to find: Crow's Nest

How to find: As soon as you start the level, head straight up to the higher level. Head toward the door with the red light, then turn around. Jump onto the racks, onto the red metal light holders, then onto the ventilation tube. The skull will spawn at the end.

-Blind Skull
Description: "Shoot from the hip"

Stage: First Stage

How To Find: When you get to the area where you see the Phantom overhead (one of the marines will point it out) jump over the rocks and keep following the path on the right. When you get to the cliff there will be a rock over of the side. The skull is on the end of the rock.

Note: This skull has to be Activated before you start a Campaign map.

-Iron Skull
Effect: When either player dies in Co-Op on any difficulty both players will restart at last check point.

Where to Find: Spartan 117

How to find: In the area where you rescue Sarge, behind the prison cell is a large ledge. Got to the far right side and jump on the boxes, then onto the pipes to get up on the ledge, goto the far end of the ledge, turning two corners the skull is at the far end.

-Tough Luck Skull
Effect: Enemies do saving throws

Where to find: Tsavo Highway

On Tsavo Highway, about halfway through the mission (right after you are forced to walk through a large blue barrier), you will come out of a tunnel on the highway, and see a large pipeline on your left. Drop down in between the two, and run to the wall in front of you. Follow the wall all the way to where it connects with the cliff on your right, and turn to the left. There should be a few ledges--simply crouch jump from ledge to ledge, and the last one should have the "Tough Luck" skull on it.

-Mythic Skull
Effect: Every enemy on the field now has double their normal amount of health.

Collect the hidden skulls throughout the game to unlock the pieces of Hayabusa armor.

When fighting the flood, if you carefully shoot their arms off without killing them, they will follow you around harmlessly without killing you. Its kinda like having a pet flood. USE THEM AS DECOYS :D

A somewhat hidden area in the Halo 3 map "Sandbox", an underground cavern about the size of "Foundry". It can be reached only in forge mode, in which you must go to the center of the map and remove the block from the entrance to the shaft leading down to it.

There are 79 achievements with a total of 1750 gamerscore.

After final cut scene, wait for the credits to finish to watch yet another cut scene. If you are playing on Legendary difficulty, there is yet another (but small) cut scene after the one after the credits. (Two total after the credits if on Legendary difficulty).

In forge go to sandtrap were there are elaphant (2) turn to the moniter and buy a tank and try pushing it not to close.Once you flip it there will be a note on the upper side of the screen.

right, in the first level after thepart with all the brutes when you can first get grenades in the woods the enemies in the trees have beam rifles (alien sniper rifle)

or after that you can get a human one at johnsons crashed pelican

u simply kill every 1 with mele or budwacking and the next level u get an invincible grunt on ur side

When you shoot a magnum bullet go to theater and pause and look on the back of the bullet shot and it should say: chief's bullet

The Thunderstorm Skull can be found on the level, The Covenant, after you take command of one of the Hornet vehicles. Fly towards the second force field generator (the one the Arbiter disabled), and land. The skull is waiting at the very top, at the end of the ramp extending over the sea.

When you have shut down the last tower on the level the covenant a green covenant ship comes outside. Jump in 2 it and lift with it but after a while you slowly fall in the water

Blind: On the rock way in the back of the first battlefield on Sierra 117.
Iron: You must go on the top ledge of the windows at the end of
Sierra 117 without defeating the gravity hammer brute. BTW Iron is in the far left corner.
Black Eye: In the start room on top of the red pipe
in the back. Grunt Birthday Party: When inside the
big round pipe area with the drones swarming in and out,when you are heading down at the
end stop and hit 1 ledge below.Then go into the small chamber and pick up the skull.
Tough Luck: Head to the part in Tsavo Highway where the
big elite ship is looming overhead.Find a ledge and drop down.Head to the left where the
big contruction pieces are stuck together heading outward.Find your way to the other
side.When you do,look for a small ledge where the skull is sitting.
Catch: THis skull is a bit more feisty to get.Go to the vehicles outside
area.Use your battle rifle or something to look over the field.The skull is sitting atop a
circular building.You must get the skull without destroying the anti-air wraith.Use
vehicles to boost yourself up if needed. Fog: Once
you step onto the metal flooring at the beginning of Floodgate,look up at the building to
your left.Watch for the flood to jump off.Kill it as fast as you can.Once you do,it will
drop the skull. Famine:Get to the part where the
ghosts guard the desert path under a bridge.Kill them and climb up a rock.Jump up on the
bridge and head to the far back area.To get this skull,you must know how to grenade jump
with plasma grenades.It's simple,just throw it down a little below the skull ledge on the
side and jump above it when it explodes.It will boost you up there where you can get the
skull. Thunderstorm: Get to the hornet part of the
level where you fly across water.Head to the 1st tower you see and go up on its
interior.Head to the point where the skull lies.It's just a bit hard to see.
Tilt:This skull made me angry everytime i attempted to get to
it.Get to the major flood blue room.On a side of the room,you'll see a little machine
point sticking up.Jump on to it and look up top left.Theres a flood platform to jump
on.Get onto it and look behind you.Another platform.Get onto it and head across the narrow
bridge leading to the other side.The skull lies next to a skeleton.
Mythic: A considerably easy skull to get. Head to the ice cave at the last
level.Go to a part where you see a rock beside you on the right.Turn and head down a misty

To get a katana, beat all the achievements, get the highest rank possible on xbox live, and get 1000 gamerscore. the katana is compatible with hyabusa armor.

Complete the indicated task in Campaign mode to unlock the corresponding armor part in Multi-player mode.

Spartan Security Shoulders: Earn 250 Gamerscore points.

If you complete a level by punching every single guy dead, no shooting, just punching, then the next level a grunt will be on your team. He is invincible and is named the cookie monster. I have tried this many times and IT ONLY WORKS IF YOU KILL EVERY SINGLE GUY BY MELEE.

When playing infection on the map longshore "mythic" get a rocket lancher and go to the life rafts shoot them into the water. wait afew secounds and jump on and you float away to saftey.

Ones on the first warthog ones you see the first or second platform you turn left till you see a chopper it depends on how many people there are like if there is 3 people there's 3 choppers and if there's 1 person there's 1 chopper

This Skull is located in the beginning of the second level Crows Nest, the very room you start in. Hanging down from the ceiling is some piping. On top of this piping, on the side nearest to the large display (the one that Hood appears on) lies the Black Eye Skull.

You can gain access to the pipes a few different ways.

when you are on the first level srry dont know wat its called you kill all of the grunts you will go where youll go where you kill a jackel and you will see like monkeys with teddy bears good luck finding

If you teabag Truths dead body a couple of times it will fall through the platform its on and fall into the place under it. When its under the platform then you can see it through the steps but you can't shoot it or throw grenades in there, this works with all bodies on the platform.

There are 3 seperate pieces that make up this armor. The chest piece, the shoulders piece and the Helmet piece. To get each part, you must collect a certain amount of skulls in the game:

To witness this rather odd easter egg, play Co-Op with a friend, or on Xbox LIVE. Go to the last level called "Halo". Right after the cutscene, get a rocket-launcher from the downed Pelican. Travel along the path as you would if you had the main goal of beating the game. Before you reach the flood, there should be a series of long pipes, jump over to the right of them on a high-peak(do this as you would if you were finding the terminal on this level). You should see an open entrance, go inside. You should see a large, black pit. Have the person with the rocket-launcher stand behind the other player, the player should run twoards the pit. When the player is running, the player with with the rocket-launcher should fire at or near the running player's feet( make sure you don't fire too close that the running player dies). While the player is flying in mid-air, or somehow lands, they should have a view of a Bungie employee dancing in his boxers.

P.S. This is very hard, so don't get frustrated if it doesn't work the first couple of times.
