Left 4 Dead... a pretty intense game huh? For those newcomers to
First-Person-Shooters(FPS) or maybe people who are just struggling with the game, here are
a five hints that may help.
1. As you may or may not know, this is a team effort game. Stay close to your teammates
and never friendly-fire. Friendly-fire DO hurt your teammates, just not as much as regular
zombie attacks.
2. Try to conserve and distribute First Aid Kits wisely. They are obviously very hard to
come by. If you are in the green and your teammate is in the low yellow or red, give them
the Kit to use. You'll find it better when all your partners survive.
3. Balance your weapons. This may be a little difficult when you aren't playing with
friends, but anyways try to spread out your weapon spectrum. Everyone shouldn't be holding
the same kind of weapon(except the pistol of course). You'll find yourself in need of
multiple weapons at certain points in the game.
4. Cover all sides. Don't all face one direction at once, even if you're playing target
practice with a hole filled with zombies. More often than not, zombies will spawn
everywhere. So if you have your back turned, you could get into serious trouble.
Especially if you're up against a specialized.
5. I've noticed this a lot. No one can seem to NOT bother the Witch. Whoever disturbs this
zombie will definitely be faced with incapacitation or possibly death. If you want to get
an achievement or just have fun with it, plan out and attack. Don't just wing it and go in
there with one man. Who wants to bother some extremely emo zombie anyways?
