Hello, and welcome to my Ring Crafting FAQ.
My name is Sakura, and I have created this FAQ for you to enhance your gaming
experience.  Please enjoy it to your heart's content.  Any questions, comments,

The Ring Crafting (or Ring Assembly, as the game calls it) is a very simple
system.  In the beginning of the game, you will be given a tutorial on the
basics of Crafting.  To Craft a ring, all you must do is go into your Ring
Assembly menu option, and choose the ring you want to Craft.  To craft a ring,
you need Components.  These are items that you will find all across the world
that will be the materials used to make your rings.  Components are mainly
found by Stealing from enemies, Drops left by enemies, and random Treasure
Chests found scattered about the world.  I will be covering all of the Drops
and Steals from every enemy in the game.
Highlight any ring to see how many of which component you need to craft the
ring.  If you have enough, the ring name will show as normal, and you can
craft it.  If you do not have enough components, the ring name will be blurred
out, as an indication that you need more components for that specific ring.
Once you Craft it, you can go into your Equip menu, and equip the ring.  It's
as simple as that.
Now for the more complex aspects of Rings.  First off, Ring Types. There are
many different type of rings, with many different effects.  The types are:

Each of these are subcategorized into Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 rings.
Obviously, the higher the level, the stronger the ring.
You have a huge selection to choose from in your Ring Assembly menu.  And the
more rings you assemble, the more rings will appear for creation.  The more
Components you gather, the more rings will appear for creation.

Now, there are also 2 more Classes of Rings, which you can not Craft.  The
first of the Classes is made from the Stalker.  Just kidding.  His name is
"Traveling Ringmaker Trace".  He is always somewhere near you when you're in a
town.  This guy has a list of 8 Level 1 Rings, 10 Level 2 Rings, and 9 Level 3
Rings.  These rings are created by using certain predetermined rings that you
can assemble AS the components for stronger rings.  These rings take a very
long time to find all the components and rings to create.  Well worth the time
to invest.  I will call these "The Ringmaker Rings".

The final type of rings are the "Special Type" rings, which can only be Found,
Dropped, or Stolen.  They can not be Crafted, Combined, or Assembled.  These
are typically the strongest of all the rings.  Keep your eyes out for Treasure
chests with these rings!

Now for using the rings.  First off, lets equip a ring.  Done? Now go battle an
enemy.  Notice there are 2 rings.  One small ring in the middle, and one larger
ring which closes in on the smaller ring.  Your goal here, is to hold down the
right trigger (yes, it is pressure sensitive), and let go of it as soon as it
touches the inner-most part of the ring.  If you let go outside of the ring,
you will see a "Bad" rating.  If you touch the outer area of the ring, you will
get a "Good" rating.  If you touch the inner-most part of the ring, you will
get a "Perfect" rating.  For the Ring's Effect to take effect, you must get
either a Good or a Perfect.  A Perfect will guarantee the effect, whilst a good
will only give you around a 50/50 chance of the effect taking place.  A bad
will result in no Ring-effect taking place.  (Note- getting a Bad does not
effect normal attacks, nor make damage go down, so no worries if you miss).

A note about Ultra-Rings.  Most rings have what we call an "Ultra" version,
which you can Craft from the Normal version of the ring.
No, Ultra does not mean more damage.  The Ultra version of the ring just makes
the "Good" portion of the outer ring a little bit bigger, making it easier for
you to score a "Good" rating.  It does not effect the "Perfect" area, sorry!
