Ive tried everything, from not even trying to save one of them, to using nightcrawler
while doing it, using spidermans web to try and save them, using telekenisis, using ghost
riders chain wrap... nothing you do can possibly save them both.

You can't save them both. It doesn't matter which one you choose to save. At the end of
the game, by saving Jean Grey... Mystique kills Professor Xavier and by saving
Nightcrawler... Jean Grey comes back as the Pheonix and wreaks havoc (like in the XMEN 3
movie). So, either way you go, someone ends up dying because that's how Blackheart works.
He makes people choose which is the lesser of two evils.

There is no way to save them both,you must choose one of them.if you save jean:
Mystique(Nightcrawlers mom) causes Xavier to die and then Xmen split up forever.if you
save Nightcrawler: Jean survives,but turns into the Pheonix and seeks revenge against the
people that didnt save her.The reason Nightcrawler doesnt teleport to escape is because
after the mutant ampliphire is used on him his powers are drained.

yes you have to choose on e i always choose jean because i dont like nightcrawler that
much but heres where you pay attenstion If You dont save nightcrawler when prof x's grave
scene is shown in the future arc youll see nightcrwaler at his grave sight which is very
weird for when you look at it so if you pay attension no matter who you save no one really

Nightcrawler, Jean comes back as the Dark Phoenix and swears revenge on the one's who
killed her. And if you save Jean, Mystique sneaks into the X-Mansion and kills Professor X
- thus splitting up the X-Men. So there is no way to save them both. You must choose. And
tbh, it doesn't really matter who you choose, as it has very little effect on the story.

is a playable character if you have the game on GBA btw, I believe. Each system has its
own set of playable secret characters. GBA has Namor, Jean Grey, and The Vision, while PSP
has Hawkeye, Ronin, Black Widow, and Captain Marvel. Xbox 360 has the most though, if you
buy the Hero and Villans pack from the Xbox Marketplace. Hero Pack: Hulk, Nightcrawler,
Hawkeye, and Cyclops. Villain Pack: Sabertooth, Dr. Doom, Venom, and Magneto. It isn't
possible to save them both. I prefer the ending where you save Nightcrawler, since Jean
Grey eventually becomes the Phoenix and kills people anyway. She's a whore.
