I've been stuck at the part after talking to Lorik Qui'in, where you go to his office and you fight the people investigating him. I always die, and so do my team members. Any suggestions on how to get past and defeat them?

Try turning down the difficulty

Either you need to turn it down, or level up in other ways before fighting them... You
need to take cover a lot when fighting hard baddies.
