ive gone down the firestairs in the brothel crouched gone up into the boiler room and dont know where i go from there... any help would be much appreciated

You will see a opening.Crouch down and go in.Follow the indicator when you can go left or right look straight up and you will see another ladder.There are also a pair of pistols in this area.
