Sonic the Hedgehog Cheats

Unlock Characters
Complete the following tasks in Sonic's story to unlock the corresponding.

Unlock Shadow The Hedgehog:
Complete 'Crisis City' with Sonic

Unlock Silver The Hedgehog:
Complete 'Silver The Hedgehog' boss battle with Sonic



Unlockable Extras Menu at the Main Menu

Unlock Audio Room:
Complete Sonic, Shadow or Silver's story 100%

Unlock Theater Room:
Complete Sonic, Shadow or Silver's story 100%

These work for sonic silver and shadow:
SONIC: While using the purple gem you can make it to impoosible places by using the special double jump feature, by hitting the A button whie jumping, you'll jump in the air. hit the A buton as many times as you like to g very far without dealng with enemeis. but be aware, doing things like going through rainbow rings or getting power ups or hitting springs may be difficult, judging on the screen changes dramaticly :(
SHADOW: jump and hit the X button and hold it down to levitate forever (most of you know this already) jup further by using this trick and then homigng attack.
example; trying to get to a kind of far rooftop, jump foward, hold X and then hit A to do a homing attack.
SILVER: pick up something with psychokinesis jump and hit the X button to levitate foever (on both levitate forever tricks you can rotate, good for both) but letting go of the X button will throw everything you have picked up if you have hold smash. rotae silver if you want to levitate for a while then throw something.
getting to places, say you want to take a smmall shortcut because of 10 enemies around you but they are blocking something in a box, simply get on something and use your powers, but it uses energy, It also has a limit, about 2/3 of your energy then you have to recharge.

silver can throw u when you are facing him. to throw sonic or shadow hit sonic or shadow once with something you can throw at them. when you see stars press start and the press x+rt don't hold it for to long or he will jump out. let go watch him fly and loose health.

Go over the world... on a box!
This was preformed in the new city, move a box with the bounce.
get on it and do the spin kick (X). you should start going in the air soon, the more you kick the higher you go, if you get stuck, DON'T WORRY. You should go down eventually. jump when you're about to hit the ground, or you could end up dye

Extreme sonic on a normal level!
First, have multi player on, (this will be cool to pull on your friends) then use the slow-mo gem and kill yourself, don't let go until the respawn (at least LOL) you go twice as fast as normal.

Grind with Silver without very hard mode on.
Most people think it's impossible for silver and shadow do do grinds or other stuff.
Just go to multiplayer with silver or shadow choose wave ocean and grind on the rails throughout the levels.

Silver's walk on water!?!?!?!?!?
When falling into water on kingdom valley hit the X button just before hitting water, you should just bump yourself right back up!

Opening two switches on multi player. (only for silver and shadow)
use shadow's or silver's shock moves, pretty easy, but kinda' hard to explain. 0_o

easy stages with sonic.
use purple gems infinite jump to get to the goal ring, also allows you to explore other characters' areas, like tails' area on wave ocean.

Tails in sonic's area!?!? ?!?!
use the purple gem to reach the island that tails is on (infinite jump before jumping onto the peices of wood that lead to the whale. switch to tails on the island. fly onto the whale (LOL, he does nothing. he has no idea wut's going on) then fly to the boards A.K.A the VERY weak bridge. :(

omegas hover sucks dick but i know how to make him hover for minures!! just press the a button rapidly this realy helps in shadows dusty desert when your omega

A new sereies


1. sky gem needed: throw on top of a building in the new city jump on top of the building and you're inside of it (you can get out, just walk though the wall)
2. Is Solaris darkened? (you'll understand when you beat the last episode)
sky gem needed: at the train station, throw the gem over the rock wall, may take two or three tries. (this some times happens to me when sonic or shadow falls in the water in the castle town.
3. *stuff* in soleana (this is the hardest glitch to preform)
start a new game on a new profile.
Find a way to pass the guards, (there is an extremly easy way to preform this part, but I dont remember where, not that much at least) you'll be in an alley and a bridge over the river. jump on a duoble pink ledge and try your hardest to get as far as you can (you will be stopped though) when you can't move further use the spin ball move, you should eventually just pass right through (LOL). Now head to the forest gate, and on the side (left) there is a gap, jump like you want to pass the door. now the very hard part you'll need to spin dash alot because there is a.... SECOND DOOR?!?!?!?!?!
it's so tight thopugh there should be a way to pass eventually, right (sonic would barelly fit in a space like that). now when you are there you might go...... WTF!
All this weird stuff pops up, even stop singns and speed limit signs. (you may not have known, but the speed limit signs are the only things in normal gameplay there).

Glitch 3 credit to someone on youtube. glitch 1 and 2 found them out myself.
the real way on glitch 3 is to jump out of some water and homing attack to the other side, but I'd prefer my way.

at the ball puzzle at the end of dusty desert with Silver the Hedgehog bring a lot of boxes and then stack them and get on top of one of the boxes next to the door with the goal ring finally use telekinisis on the box whicne your standing on to bypass the door without having to the final ball puzzle happy? :)

Everyone knows this, but just for the heck of it, ill post it.

With Silver or Omega, you can hover.
Not very long.
Just tap the button instead of holding it.
Now you can basically fly hahaha
